I ended up trying to make a video anyway after I said I wouldn't be able to and managed to just fit it in between other projects. This is one I remembered I had everything ready to go for after finding my Burroughs calculator recently after the move which I really needed to make this video the way I envisioned. I'm still uploading the video as I post this so it won't be ready for a couple hours I suspect.
A while back now I got a Monroe adding machine which I feel completes a trifecta of the three main types of calculators for the turn of the century. It didn't really bring much to the table that was new over the other calculators and was introduced quite a bit after the others, but it made a few tweaks to the usability here and there that adds up to a completely different way to work with it that is much more intuitive.
