just now catching up on this video, sad i missed this book club but i endeavor to be in the next one. i can attest to kit harrington’s talent as professor lockhart. i was worried i wouldn’t be able to separate his voice from jon snow, but he is AMAZING! there are a ton of game of thrones actors that are or will be voicing characters in the upcoming full cast audiobooks. definitely worth a listen!

So sorry for non-translated russian words :/ I always write my notes in English, then ask GPT to give me the most suitable translation of certain words to express what I want to say (i.e. in this case I asked for the right epithets for Umbridge), then I rewrite and shorten the whole text, and then I ask GPT to check everything again :) This time I must have copy-pasted a non-final version. I cringed at myself so much while watching the video. I should have triple-checked! Well, at least now you know some Russian, haha

The reason is not because of Umbridge, though, it’s mostly because of the constant anger and lashing out from Harry. I still really enjoy it though, like all of the books. I think Snidget would be a really cute dog name by the way.

2026-01-06 03:28:12 +0000 UTCIn my school (america- Pennsylvania) kids would get suspended for fighting, sometimes in school suspension as well which is when you sit in silence all day and quietly do work, I made up hours in there when I had missed to many days before but never got suspended myself. I bet if you fought several times they would have expelled you eventually from my school though.
