Hi Veggie! Is this the first time we get to hear Grubbly-Plank's first name? Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank. It might not be, I just can't remember it being mentioned before, but it probably has been. I love how Trelawney is trying, and failing spectacularly, to be subtle about what is wrong after getting her inspection results back. Hermione suddenly being sceptical to DA after taking to Sirius makes sense, in a way, and her thoughts about Sirius is almost like an echo of what has been said about him in the book club during this book. I appreciate her saying this because it's not easy to say because she knows in advance how Harry will react to that.

Namaste, 1st Time This book is my fav. My xp is like urs from book 5. I read until GoF, watched all movies &then had started reading from OotP couple of years later. I found u during PoA, wanted to comment since 2024. It'll take forever to catchup cause I'm still in start of GoF, so decided to skip &join in.(ur take on molly & Weatherby is surprising) A Prof. smoking pipe in staff room !! Would have joined Neville to beat up Malfoy. Snape been teaching since 14 years i.e. 1982(age 22). From Deatheater to Spy to a Teacher- he doesn't have training/requirements to be a teacher, is unfit for the post &acts like a*h*. Hermione's opinions/treatment of Sirius bothers me &Harry too(cause he cares about what she thinks). Anger, irritation &withdrawal- signs of mental struggle &depression. I was abused in high school &can remember the feeling of helplessness. Can see those in harry now; maybe that's y I like this book most. Can u guess my 2nd fav (by looking at my profile pic) On lighter note- to see u cover 3 chapters in 4 hours to only 2 in 5-6 is exciting(no pressure). :D Sorry for the long comment. Have a biscuit !

Civilized_Saint

"Blood" "I'll get it" Just a bit of intrigue in these chapters. I think they should have let Neville try his luck he could have taken Malfoy. So now you know have the answer to your question about the location of Hermione's hats, though the location of the twins boils are best left to the imagination. would have liked if the Umbridge trying to catch Sirius was in the film It's quite a good scene. Noticing a pattern they keep giving dobby's moments to Neville in the films, how they find the room of requirement makes more sense in the book. Regarding last book club, Went a talking pictures tv live event in Hebden bridge met the carry on stars Amanda Barrie, Anita Harris and sherrie Hewson. Also not long now...

Do we know yet that Neville’s parents are in St. Mungo’s? Would that be considered a spoiler?

Hey Veggie and Woozle! You've covered everything, so I just have one weird question, I've had for a long time: What is the phrase you say at the end of every video? I can never fully understand😁 What I hear is: "Please like.... All... I'm Veggie Gamer and I'll see you next time" So can you please say it veeeeeery slowly once?😅 Sorry for the stupid comment. Thank you for everything you do. Your hard work is recognized and really appreciated.

Hey Veggie and Woozle! Chapter 17 Umbridge is just loving having this power over Harry. Shes so vindictive and power hungry. This is also the chapter where you find out that the boys can't go up to the girls dorm lol that must be fun for the girls to slide down to the common room instead of walking haha. Poor Hedwig!!!! This part always angered me. Who do you think hurt her? Umbridge inspecting Snapes lesson is quite enjoyable tho haha. Sometimes i feel sorry for Professor Trelawney. I love the conversation with Sirius tho he had a point about the Hogs Head meeting. Chapter 18 It annoys me that Hermione changes her mind just because of Sirius's opinion on it. Haha Fred and George's boils haha. It would be really strange to feel what somebody else is feeling as if its your own emotion. Love that Dobby is taking all of the things Hermione is leaving out. I think Harry should tell her tho its what a good friend would do hes just worried it'll hurt her feelings i think. Do you remember what Dumbledore said at the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire? He was referencing the Room of Requirement and a lot of people think he was purposefully telling Harry so Harry could find it one day if he really needed it. I love that Ginny came up with the name for the DA with a little help from Cho lol. Again Luna making me laugh 😂. Love her so much. All the best to you and your beautiful Woozle ❀

Liz

You're thought about Mundunguses disguise cracked me up! But you're absolutely right. I have not thought about that before...

PumpkinSparks

I'm so sorry to hear. I hope you're recovery goes well and you feel better soon!

PumpkinSparks

Hey Woozles Hooman! If you know about the Room of Requirement, would it be a feasable plan to skip breakfast on your first day of school and pace that corridor instead, thinking that you need all the supplies and books required for that year? The Dobby scenes always gives me very mixed feelings. For one, it's sweet and Dobby is adorable and I'm happy for him that he got to talk to Harry and help him. Then the whole SPEW revelation is kinda funny. BUT it very blatantly points out the whole problem that Hermione is not seeing. But mostly I really do not like that Harry does not tell Hermione and that she never has to show any accountability for her actions. I understand that it would slow down the story, but I really wish there was a scene where she goes to the kitchens and apologizes to the house elfs! I have my own theory why that doesn't happen (it mainly boils down to my low opinion of the author as a person...), but it really bothers me... Also Harry, this should be a cue for you to occasionally go down to the kitchens and talk to Dobby for like 30 minutes or so! I adore how much Harry seems to enjoy teaching and has pride in his "students" progress. He also seems to be quite a good teacher! Something I think the movies have done well here is Harrys costuming during the DA lessons. For one it's smart to dress everyone else with a closed cardigan or sweater, so he stands out more showing a lot more of the white shirt. But the open, slightly loose cardigan is also reminiscent of the one teacher Harry would want to emulate - Lupin! Give the noodle some skritches on my behalf, please :)

PumpkinSparks

Yes! Out of everything big and small, this is my biggest issue with the movie franchise

Andrew K

Hi veggie! đŸ„• What annoys me about the movie is that they invent a character called “Nigel” and get rid of Colin and Dennis Creevey! Who the heck is Nigel?

Garry (Not Jerry)

I don’t think someone watching the movie would necessarily know that Sirius’s head in the fire is the same as floo powder. Both gof and ootp have different but ultimately incorrect interpretations. It’s meant to literally just look like a whole human head inside a fireplace.

Garry (Not Jerry)

To be fair they do a very good job of making you care about Dobby just in that last movie, even though you haven’t seen him for ages. They really play up the whole “ Dobby has come to save Harry and “Dobby has no master” moments

Garry (Not Jerry)

If he starts calling you “Ceri” I would suggest changing your username

What's up V&W? Ch 17: I love how this book incorporates the lessons into the plot so we can see what the students are studying. Giant Wars, silencing bullfrogs and ravens, and even the "sloth grip roll" for quidditch (I imagine this involves loosening your grip on the broom like a sloth so you can roll while keeping your body slack. It would allow you to rapidly shift your center of mass to avoid bludgers). What are your thoughts on Umbridge almost catching Sirius? Does floo powder work the way you imagined from the movies or is it a bit more complicated than you thought? Ch 18: Fantastic chapter. I love the reintroduction of Dobby. We learn what has been happening to Hermione's hats. I don't believe we get any indication that Harry explained to Hermione what was happening to them though, haha. Dobby is a legend for suggesting the Room of Requirement. I love the details involved with the room (like the cushions, dark detectors, and later the whistle). I can relate to Harry's awkward feelings about teaching for the first time. I was a tutor in college and was mostly tutoring people a year or two below me. Eventually I became a TA and now I teach people in a professional setting where many of my students are much older than me. One thing I've learned is that teachers are always learning to become better teachers.

Hi Veggie and Woozle! I never thought I’d do this, but I have to defend Trelawney here. Last book club, a lot of people were calling her a fraud, and now Hermione is doing it too! She’s a terrible teacher, yes, but NOT a fraud. She is a real Seer and has made at least one legitimate prophecy that we know of (book 3). Calling her a fraud is just plain false. So 3 or more people is considered an organization? Does that mean the trio can’t hang out anymore? Dobby is back! I’m so glad we finally know where all of Hermione’s “clothes” are going. How do you think she’d feel if/when she finds out? I was always a little annoyed with the DA scenes in the movie. The room looked cool, yes, but it was nothing like the book. Things like that are always so strange to me. What are your thoughts on it Veggie? Until next time!

G’day Veggie! Hope you are having a lovely week.    Fun fact, we are about 45% of the way though this book. Some people complain that this book is too long and has too much “fluff” but I personally enjoy the more fleshed out world. It makes it feel more real. Onto the chapters:   Chapter 17 * Does knowing Hermione jinxed the paper make you feel differently about them all signing it? * Poor Hedwig! She didn’t deserve that * I actually like seeing this side of Trelawney   Chapter 18 * This chapter mentions that Charms is a great class to have a chat in because there is so much other activity going on and they won’t be overheard. This follows directly on from what Sirius said about the Hogs Head and Three Broomsticks! * Do you think quidditch players should be allowed to use spells to help them in the game? Feels like cheating. * Did you like all the name suggestions for the group? What would you have come up with? Love from Australia

Hey Veggie, finally caught up!! Is it just me or do the last 3 books feel like a different genre? Because I read that somewhere and now can’t not notice it, the first 4 books are mainly mystery books in a fantasy setting: 1- who’s after the philosophers stone 2- who’s the heir of slytherin 3- where is Sirius black 4- who put Harry’s name in the golbet of fire While the last 3 books read much more like a war saga as there’s no main mystery in each book Also, HOW DARE THEY HURT HEDWIG!! and I just realised is Harry’s birthday in the films and books different, cus in the film it’s in July, when in the films it can’t be because it’s the same day he’s taking the train to Hogwarts which would make it September
.

Slytherin_Apollo

Hiya Veggie and Woozle, -The scene of Fred and George puking into the buckets to show off their wares would have been a disgusting but amazing scene in the movie, maybe in the series? -Was it potentially a bit underhanded of Hermione not to tell the members of the DA that she jinxed the contract they signed? Even after they signed it just so they know not to blab? Harry should probably tell her where her elf clothes are going too. Also, poor Winky -Stephen King is on record that he considers Umbridge to be the best villain in fiction since Hannibal Lecter -I don't think Harry ever came to a decision over whether he wanted Snape or Umbridge to triumph, and I wanted to know that answer because his consideration of it was hilarious in the first place

Gugurupurasu Daikirai

👋 veggie, The moment that Hedwig got injured is the moment when I first read this that it felt personal for me I talked about not understanding how Harry can’t just hold his tongue when it comes to Umbridge but after this now I wouldn’t blame him you f with my pet you f with me. Not that I specifically remember it but the ending of chapter 18 with the hand in the fire probably kept me up late that night nonstop reading. 👋

Greetings, Chapter – 17 - Educational decree 24 is not a problem. I will explain why if you have not gotten it by the time the book gives the pertinent info. - I would say Quidditch as a hole is one club. Everyone can play or no one can. Chapter – 18 - Any idea as to what the was Voldemort events are? - How does anyone find the room of requirement by accident? Needing to pace on a specific location. You are telling me Dumbledore went back and forth on the 7th floor when heading to the bathroom.

Garfnob

Hi Veggie, long time no see. I had a surgery in September and have been recovering ever since. This book is also my least favorite of the series so I hardly had motivation to read it while in pain. Part of the reason, this book is my least favorite is Umbridge. Are we surprised? Reading about what she's doing and saying makes me feel uncomfortable. While she's a slytherin herself and favors the slytherin students for the sake of it, not all slytherins like her. Take Snape. When she was interviewing him it was clear that he absolutely hates her. What did you think of her actions in these chapters, especially allegedly attacking Hedwig and trying to catch Sirius?

Will

I like that a lot too, about Sirius, he's not as much of an archetypal godfather, and more a realistic traumatised man

Jo Winters

Hello Veggie! Thank you for your last video, I hope this one may be out around my 33rd birthday (3rd of December). I wonder, will you listen to audible full-cast audiobook at some point? I decided to get it and I love it way more than I thought I would. I knew that I will like it, just not that it will reignite 'the magic' so much. Chapter 17 I love when Hermione does things like putting a jinx on a piece of paper without telling anyone, or keeping Rita in a jar. If Hermione ever went bad, she would be terrifying. Do you think Malfoy knows about Neville’s parents? He seems to know most of what Lucius knows, like about Sirius turning into a dog, or the Triwizard Tournament. Chapter 18 I’ve been waiting for this scene. Dobby is iconic! I can’t wait to see him in the new series. From set photos so far and judging by the costumes, I can tell they’ll lean into his quirky style.

Jo Winters

Hello Woozle and Veggie! Poor Hedwig! She was just doing her job and someone hurt her!! That’s not very vegan! I love how much we see Dobby in the books. Ive always been a bit annoyed at movie watchers who were so upset by his fate in the final movies, when there had been ZERO scenes with him between chamber of secrets and deathly hallows. Why are you so upset about a character that you’ve hardly seen? He is a much bigger character in the books, but the movies just forgot about him! Cho suggests “defence association” which I think is a great name, but Ginny suggests Dumbledor’s Army, which Hermione chooses, I guess she ships Hinny (harry + Ginny) not Charry (cho + Harry) Have a wonderful day and enjoy lots of Woozle cuddles!

Axel Dalmo

I think her clipboard is more like the burn book from Mean Girls

Axel Dalmo

Hi Veggie! - I love the imagery of Dobby wearing as many clothes as he can find - I think the fact that he was still in his rags in the Deathly Hallows movie was an unforgivable directive choice. At least we have the TV show to see Dobby’s tower of hats! Important question - it says Dobby was wearing a lot of socks that made his feet look big
were they as big as Ron’s feet? - If you were walking past the Room Of Requirement, what sort of interior would you ask it to make? - I love Sirius’ shades of grey character - can we call him Sirius Grey rather than Sirius Black? Sirius is very fickle. He got moody and snappy when Harry wasn’t being reckless before, but suddenly now he’s all smiles, calm, and jokey now that Harry is breaking rules. It’s such a contrast to the previous conversation, but one which shows Sirius’ lack of maturity. I think he’s fascinating! Hope you’re doing great, and I hope you’re enjoying wrestling more than I am right now - I’m finding WWE a slog to get through currently!

Hey Veggie! I wanted to dig a bit deeper into the topic of the staircase to the girls’ dormitory. It’s funny how the boys made it to fifth year without knowing about that. Do you think it’s a plot hole? It’s also interesting that Hermione says “boys are less trustworthy than girls.” It sounds a bit sexist, doesn't it? Why should girls be less likely to want to sneak into the boys’ dorm, or have different reasons for doing so? I guess the idea is more about the concept of consent. Like, if a girl went into the boys’ dormitory, it would be seen as her giving consent, while if a boy went into the girls’ dormitory, the girls might not be okay with it. They do mention it’s an old-fashioned rule, though. And it kind of hints at the victim-blaming mindset of earlier times: like, if she went there, she must have wanted it. In modern times, that logic doesn’t feel fair at all. Sorry if I didn’t express my thoughts very clearly, it’s a complicated question, really. What do you think about it anyway?

Natasha

Hi Veggie, what do you think about Umbridges decision to forbid all teams? What do you think her reasoning was? Dobby saving the day again. What do you think about the description of the Room of Requirement in the book?

Florian Krause

Hi veggie! "Carrie" here lol. Chapter 17- I absolutely love Ron sliding down the stairs when trying to get up to the girls rooms, i really enjoyed that hogwarts legacy included this in the game and girls get to explore all the dorms (more items for me!). Can't wait to hear what you thought of mundungus being the witch in the hogshead, i definitely didn't see that coming. Chapter 18- Poor winky getting drunk and having to sleep it off in the room of requirement, I wish she would embrace her freedom. Wish they didn't give Dobby telling him about the room away to Neville in the movie, although I do like Neville, just not as much as Dobby. Harry basically being like "if you dont think expelliarmius is the best spell ever you can GTFO" is so hilarious to me since its the running joke that its the only spell he knows in the movies lol.

Cari Ann

Hi Veggie! Happy Thanksgiving! I know you don't celebrate in the UK, but I imagine this video will come out around that time, and it is my favorite holiday. So many interesting things in these chapters! Poor Hedwig! Umbridge is so vile! I love the line, "Hedwig, who was staring at Harry as though unable to believe he would give her away like this." It reminds me of taking my cats to the vet. What do you think of Dobby with all the hats? I was anxiously waiting for you to learn what was happening to all the things Hermione knitted. You should look up the chapter art for chapter 18 from the physical books. I'm pretty sure it shows Dobby with all the hats! I also love the idea of him putting drunk Winky to bed in the room of requirement. It's weirdly touching. Dobby really is the MVP. What did you think of Neville trying to fight Malfoy? I appreciate that he's standing up for his parents, even though violence is not the right way to address a problem. I appreciate that Sirius actually delivered Molly's message to the trio. It was a much more mature conversation than the last one, and it was so adorable that Crookshanks was trying to get near him. A great call back to POA.

Maria

Hi veggie, So much good stuff in these chapters but ill just draw attention to my two favourite lines; "His large, pointed ears were now sticking out from beneath what looked like all the hats Hermione had ever knitted" Id love to have seen this. 'Yeah, the DA's good,' said Ginny, 'Only let's make it stand for Dumbledore's Army, because that's the Ministry's worst fear, isn't it?' I love the fact this was ginnys idea. Her development going forwards is brilliant and she really is one of my favourite characters

Alex

Great chapters! I'm sure many will say that Hermione is wrong for Jinxing the signup sheet but in the current climate I think it is a necessity. Apart from the Weasleys, Neville and Luna, I wouldn't trust anyone not to suddenly change their mind or crack under pressure from Umbridge. Look at how fast the students turned on Harry in Chamber of Secrets and just because they are here for defense lessons doesn't mean that they actually believe Harry and Dumbeldore. Hermione is being sneaky certainly but telling them would defeat the purpose of having it jinxed at all—its for exactly the kind of people who might just be there as a spy. It's very similar reasoning to why Harry only tells a select few about his scar hurting. Hermione knows that they can’t afford to blindly trust that everyone else will keep their mouth shut. It’s not ethical but neither is what the ministry is brainwashing people into believing, plus Harry has been tortured by Umbridge which I think factors into Hermione’s decision too. For me this is actually a very logical move by Hermione. Magic is honestly so much cooler in the books, people can’t just point their wand say the words and be good at casting spells. It takes precision and discipline and I love that Harry notices the difference between good spell work and bad. It’s really cool to hear his thoughts as he observes everyone too. Also shout out to Ron—he held his own against hermione even if she did beat him more often. It just baffles me how often the movies turned Ron into a whiny idiot that doesn’t stick up for himself. Please lord give us a balanced trio like the books in the tv show. It’s probably the thing that I want most.

Josh Z

It's nice to see some book-exclusive chapters! Mundungus being able to disguise himself as a witch with just a veil means either that witch and wizard clothing is noticeably different... or that he stuffed a couple melons down his shirt. 😂 It's really cool that Cho and Ginny are the ones who came up with the name Dumbledore's Army! Last time you were wondering if Voldemort's emotions affect Harry's mood. What do you think about that idea after reading this chapter?

Madikuma95

Greetings to all! Just a few random thoughts on these chapters. Ch 17 - Boys not being able to get into the girls dormitory is such an interesting detail. I’m glad they incorporated that into Hogwarts Legacy, although I haven’t seen many YouTube play-throughs that actually try it. I can’t remember if you figured that out while playing or if this is the first that you’ve heard of it. - I had the thought that it doesn’t actually matter this year if Professor Snape gives Harry a zero on his classwork. Fifth years have their OWL exams so I don’t know if points on schoolwork actually counts towards anything other than to see how prepared you are for the OWL exams. - Puking Pastilles sound disgusting. Ch 18 - I love the whole exchange between Zacharias Smith and Harry about the disarming charm, Harry saying he used it against Voldemort and the whole room being quiet. Gives me a chill. As always, thank you for all of the time and effort that you put into this for us!

Badger Kat

WFFTITWFF Veggie! It really struck me this time how sad it is, that a lot of people of other houses coming to the Gryffindor table would be considered suspicious. It really shows that inter-house friendships/ interactions seem to be very unusual and how isolating the house system at Hogwarts therefore is.😕 I really like Hermione but I disagree with her take on Sirius in chapter 18. I think she usually has a way better understanding of Sirius and his behaviour than Harry or Ron. But I wholeheartedly agree with them that she's being unfair to him by considering to give up the Defense Group simply because Sirius liked the idea! Just because Sirius can make rash and unreasonable decisions sometimes doesn't mean that anything he likes suddendly becomes a bad thing! To end on a happier note: I never noticed it before, but I think it is incredibly sweet that Crookshanks is constantly trying to touch Sirius' face in the fire. It really shows how much they actually bonded in Prisoner of Azkaban!đŸ„°

Diego ZenhÀusern

Hermione jinxing a piece of parchment without telling anyone is a fascinating morality discussion. Apparently the curse will make "Eloise Midgen’s acne look like a couple of cute freckles" 😬 It's not cool people are agreeing to such details without knowing. Hermione seems to have designed the curse to PUNISH a snitch instead of protecting the group FROM snitching. I don't like her method, but I see what she's going for. Had Hermione told others the paper was cursed, they might have joined out of fear, leading to trust issues within the group. It would be like adding a clause to a wedding vow that says: "if you ever leave me, I will set your hair on fire". That's not a good foundation. Telling would also give an opportunity for someone to remove the curse. I think Hermione's chosen method comes from knowing how Wormtail betrayed the first Order of the Phoenix. The Marauders thought there was a traitor, but didn't know who it was. Hermione's curse seems to *identify* the traitor for sure, avoiding past mistakes. I still think Hermione is morally wrong, but I like seeing this "ruthless" side of her. Blackmailing Rita Skeeter and locking her up in a jar was just a start 😁 -Great character moments for Neville! Fighting Malfoy and casting Expelliarmus successfully. And the text finally brings up what Harry has known about Neville's parents since GoF. -Sirius can be reckless but I think he's right Dumbledore's Army is a good idea.

Me Here

The Ministry monitors the connections. So when someone connects the Fireplace in Sirius's house to the Gryffindor fireplace that raised alarm bells. Especially as Sirius has done it before, when he broke into a Wizarding house to use their fire.

S1lm4r1l

Hi Veggie! Harry’s relation with Neville doesn’t seem to have changed since learning about the fate of his parents, but at least he stepped up to help Neville out after he reacted to Malfoy’s taunts, although I think Harry would still have done so even if he didn’t know. After trapping Rita Skeeter in a jar, Hermione is now putting a curse on everyone who signed the parchment without telling them, she can be a bit scary sometimes. I guess we can add animal cruelty to the list of Umbridge’s crimes, I wonder how she got her hands on Hedwig. That’s the second time the movies gave Dobby’s role to Neville after the gillyweed in GoF and now the room of requirement. Are you expecting Dobby to be the one to cut Nagini’s head in the last book?

Alias93

Hi Veggie! First time commenter here. Been following you since Chamber of Secrets movie reaction. Really interesting to follow your journey through the books. This is where this books really kicks in for me so thought might jump into the club with the others. I really enjoy the first lesson and always like to see Harry interact somewhat more with other people than Ron/Hermione and occasionally Fred/George. For myself there isn't any boring parts from this chapter onwards so I'll be really interested to see your reaction to especially everything the movie left out/changed. Hope you are well.

Keary Smith

Hi Veggie, I wonder how Umbridge knew that Sirius was in the fire. Is there an alarm type system that shows the owner of the fire that someone is intruding?

Sandra

Hiya Veggie! Can we just take a second to congratulate Harry for not sprinting off after Dobby the moment he tells him about the room of requirement? This is a book with a lot of impulsive Harry, but he does have his moments of maturity! I like that they are often accompanied by him imagining Hermione’s voice in his head. I think that also speaks to how influence his friends have on him. Most kids considering making a reckless choice would hear the voice of their mother or father taking them to task, but Harry had never spent enough time around the adults he actually respects for their voices to become part of his internal narrative.

K

hello veggie! hello woozle! getting in early this time! chapter 17: the lore behind the sliding staircases we saw in the dormitories in hogwarts legacy! poor hedwig, i’ve always hated this part when she gets hurt. umbridge is cruel but this was the MOMENT for me (as an animal lover) when i truly hated her. poor neville! i can’t imagine being in his position. i really believe it’s worse than harry’s other than the fact that neville still has some family to care for him, even if it is tough love. harry’s immediate “but i kept my temper!” to angelina always makes me laugh; at least he’s self aware. chapter 18: and finally the reveal about where all of hermione’s wooly bladders have been going. AND he was the one to suggest the room of requirement as the DAs location! i wish they kept him in the movie, even just for that small part. bless his little heart. what a successful first lesson for harry and the DA! i absolutely adore the movie montage but the lessons in the book really show how much effort harry puts into it. have a wonderful day! extra pats for wooz!

Dani Phantom

Snape's ongoing struggle to be professional within the classroom reaches new lows; Taking out his anger with Umbridge on Harry. "That Barman has a long memory" - Sirius with a masterclass in understatement. What do you think Mundungus did to get banned from the Hogs Head? If Mundungus is there to protect Harry, are you surprised the Barman is making that job more difficult by continuing to ban Mundungus? The night before Harry returned to Hogwarts Voldemort was angry. During the Umbridge detention, Voldemort was happy and now after Quidditch practice he's angry again. What is he happy or angry about? What isn't happening fast enough? Voldemort complaining about the local takeaway food perhaps? Did you think we'd get Nigel in the books? Or did you think he was movie-exclusive?

S1lm4r1l

S'mae Voglie! I've tried my best to be short this time. Chapter 17 "An organisation... is hereby described as a regular meeting of three or more students"- Umm...does that mean Umbridge has technically banned lessons? Can you imagine film "Who are you and what have you done with" Hermione doing putting a jinx on some parchment? No wonder she said jinxes could be useful in chapter 15. And put another galleon in the Eloise Midgeon references jar! 😂 Finally, a long-awaited answer to something you queried in the Chamber of Secrets Chapters 8, 9 and 10 video- Binns does *not* get Harry's name right! Banning social groups and scarring children's hands is passable- but if Umbitch has hurt Hedwig, that's simply irredeemable. Chapter 18 Everyone seems to do the impervious charm first time just after watching Harry do it- what's the point of lessons, if spells are that easy? Or do they only work in a trivial Quidditch context? Reading about the clandestine DA meetings is one of my favourite parts of the book. Though Cho's friend clearly preferred Cedric to Harry!
