At the risk of being repetitive... What an episode! It was so awesome learning more about the culture of the Fire Nation, as well as the skill of Fire Bending. Aang learned a VERY important message, it the worst possible way!
It was also great to get a bit of background on Zhao! I didn't think we ever would!
This one honestly hit me different (at 'that' moment), this show continues to impress with how emotional you get for the characters.

2025-09-14 04:37:05 +0000 UTCObviously gotta watch korra after, though you can take a little break between. Movie is season 1, would be good fun but kinda painful to watch again haha. Also you haven't mentioned the live-action adaptation Netflix series? Currently season 1 of 3 is out and well... it's better than the movie and has some cool changes and visuals, but also oddly a lot of similar issues to the movie. Hopefully Netflix series will adapt to the feedback for seasons 2 and 3. Idk if anyone would consider this a spoiler but this episode does not appear in any of the adaptations :(
