Hi guys! Here is part 3 of the Hunger Games series, and they ain't getting any less stressful! XD
This was EXCELLENT and absolutely flew by! I love the discussion of morality around rebellion, propaganda and war. It was such an interest take on topics that usually get gloss- (not the career)-ed over.
Heads up - I think I get a little confused with what footage is being shown where a couple of times! I think I grasp it by the end though! Sorry for any confusion!
Oh! Btw, RIGHT at the end of the reaction, I include my reaction to the post credit 'thing' (not really a scene XD). I haven't got the footage on that part, but it is pretty obvious what I am seeing! :) Hope that is ok!

2025-04-13 22:03:59 +0000 UTCI remember watching this movie for the first time and just being so overwhelmingly emotional at the dam scene when they started singing. I think one of the best things about this series is that it very much highlights the truths about war from both sides - neither side is 100% in the right, nor do they always make the best choices because the best choices aren't always moral. Just seeing how many people, just normal people, sacrifice themselves for this cause and they'll likely never be remembered really hit me during this movie the first time and it's never really left me. Unrelated note, but I think they did a good job adding the little details of Katniss being claustrophobic, specifically being underground. It was illustrated in the first movie that her father died in a mine collapse and she's absolutely terrified of dying in a similar sense. It's hard to really show that without having a weird conversation where she blatantly says it so her looking at the bunker ceiling and seeing the cracks and then asking Prim to distract her, and even her mother holding them both as close as possible. It's just a good detail that I've always really appreciated.
