Wow, what an episode. The whole second half felt like pending doom and the final scene was incredible.
I had a feeling it what would happen may happen, but definitely not in this way!
I am really enjoying Holtz. Gawd knows what he meant by that last line, but he definitely feels like a 'villain' will many different levels to him.

The rain was necessary, the prophecy said ‘the heavens will weep, and there shall be no birth, only death’. Which is exactly what happened. In my opinion, Darla as a person, which is more what she’s like here due to the borrowed soul of the baby, doesn’t owe a redemption. She wasn’t alive when she did bad things. She’s not responsible for the actions of the demon that took over her body. Angel needed a little redemption cause he did some bad things while he’s had his soul. But that’s probably been repaid and then some already. Guilt is a funny thing, they, just like a lot of other people, feel it even when it’s not warranted.

2025-02-12 20:26:24 +0000 UTCLullaby is in my top ten of Angel episodes and Darlas sacrifice is one of my favourite moments of the show . I'm so glad they decided to bring Julie Benz back for Angel such a great arc for the character.
