Jeez, this one was pretty brutal! But still great! Really loving Fred becoming one of the squad!

What a crazy character progression that guy from Beer Bad had! 0_0

I bloomin' love Skip. I really hope we see him again, though I HIGHLY doubt it! XD

And... we are DEFINITELY seeing that prisoner guy again. XD

Hope you guys are having a great week!

As always, if you click the video just after this post, you may need to  download it first.  This should be fixed in a couple of hours!

Knightmare was the best show ever! I loved watching it as a kid, especially every time they got to fly on the dragon.

I'm so proud of Angel for taking out Fez guy immediately. Angel needing to kill him once Cordy is alright again was basically the only thing I could think about during the scene🙈😅

Lorne and Fred are definitely top tier :D It's always so hard when people in season one of Angel are like, who are your favourite characters? And then it's like... I can't say anything because they haven't even shown up yet! haha.

There's also toaster pancakes :)

No, that couldn't have been intended to be the same character from Beer Bad. Just the same actor, which happened quite a lot on both shows. Cordelia's visions are supposed to be getting worse on their own. Fez guy wasn't around before, hence the payroll tax form discussion. Maybe they threw that in just to let us know he wasn't causing the vision problems before. Those writers were clever with dropping in little details like that.

Toaster waffles. The most popular brand in the US are Kellog's Eggo Waffles.

There's an old saying: The U.S. and England-Two countries separated by a common language.

I love the relationship growth between everyone in this episode, and although the "villain" doesn't look that scary, what he is able to do to Cordy is actually VERY scary. Her visions are such an important part of the show, so it's good to get a deeper sense of how they are affecting her as time goes on (even though in this case they were not *true* visions). They are starting to take a big psychological toll in addition to the physical toll.

They have been so completely opposite, it is hard to call! XD I would say if I were only able to rewatch one, it would be Buffy, as it had that emotional edge, but that Angel side quest was one of the crazist things in either shows and I absolutely loved it!! XD

VEGGIE GAMER

Copout is fair XD I mainly meant judging them as of the end of Season 5 and Season 2, though!

Jake M

I am really enjoying both (sorry, copout answer). I feel like I need to get a grasp of what the 'main story' is for both right now. Both are providing top tier episodes, but both arks are in flux (which is understandable with what has happened in both)

Also, the thing that would get the "hotel" in trouble the fastest would be lack of ADA accessibility, not the things he was talking about getting them with. However, until the building undergoes renovations, it wouldn't even need to meet those requirements.

So at this point, are you finding Buffy or Angel more enjoyable? For me, Angel season 3 is its peak, while Buffy season 6 may well be its nadir.

Jake M

It's not being run as a hotel, nor is it under renovation. So, presumably, it wouldn't have to be up to any modern codes. The phone books are called either the White Pages (residential) or Yellow Pages (commercial). Nowadays, they're both so small that they usually combine them into one book. The pages are still yellow and white, though, so you know which section to look in. This is a good episode. It's got the great darkness that I love from Angel and also really showcases their relationships again.
