I am personally not a big fan of the music/video cuts, so excessively. I also see it on tons of reactors. barley anyone gets even 1 fact that is going on in those (specially the one that depicts the gas thingy) and if they are necessary to condense stuff, then i'd rather have another season. (Also it feels low key cheap, considering Fortiches work before, not sure if the praise of the ekko vs powder had an impact on those decisions either) It's double rushed, if you consider all the new stuff that has been introduced in S2, new characters, new organizations, new "powers", new mysteries. But yea just my opinion.

Singed real name has some lore tied to it. we'll see if it comes up in act 3. waiting for this week of necrits 2 hour easter egg / breakdown. soooo much stuffs going on beyond 2 episodes making me cry this act. they got our heartstrings and toying with them for realll.

I picked up the anniversary edition that Cyan published a few years back, it has everything from Myst through URU. It's really nice to have versions that I can just load onto my hard drive and play. I remember having to constantly swap out CDs when playing Riven, which was a pain in the arse. I've played both the standalone and online versions of URU

The music video's are necessary or else the season would've actually been rushed. They're used to fill in plot points that can easilly be told in a few minutes without sacrificing much. The music video's arent bad for the pacing. And the episodes themselves are paced fine. I think an extra episode between ep 3 and 4 would've made the timeskip more seemless and therefore the pacing would feel better in that regard. But i am a big fan ot the music video's and that is the writers do the best they can with the time they were given in order to please the fans and not actually skip over plot points. The music videos are very powerful if you watch them slower and understand what story they're telling rather than just throwing them to the side because you wanted normal scenes with dialogue. Without the music videos, this season would've ended around the same time where the last episode (ep 6) ended, then fans would call it rushed a lot more than people do now. If act 3 is better than this act, which is my 2nd favourite act, s1 act 3 being my favourite, than i will have season 2 over season 1

I frickin' LOVED URU! Weirdly, I had briefly played Myst and Riven, but URU was the one that got me fully into the series! And Riven ended up being my fav out of them! :) (Only played URU offline)

I've heard you say before that Riven (the game) is one of your favorites, and it is for me as well, along with most of the other Myst/URU games!

Honestly, to me S2 is worse than S1. The pacing seems off, too many music video sequences (ya know where it's all artistic, as opposed to just having nice music. in S1 iirc we only had the Ekko vs powder one) And most of all. I am not sure what i should think about them introducing so many greater world lord things now as opposed to staying primarily in the Zaun/Piltover bubble. I fear the ending won't be satisfactory as most of the story lines won't even be near a conclusion any time soon, let alone within arcane. But hey, at least a years long speculation has now been confirmed to be true and canon (Orianna). Also the head in that glass thingy, is the blonde guy who tried to rob the kids in the beginning and later got shimmered up I absolutely LOVE the cuddle scene and the music for it, sadly it's a rly short track QAQ Also my theory: Vander named Vi, Silco named Powder, they effectively became their godfathers right then and there. Unless there is a huge lore re-writing, we know that Arcane plays before the Noxus invading Ionia, so it's way in the past. (which is also why non of the champions are on their "current" version yet in arcane.) I fear Warwick will lose his ability to speak eventually
