Yeah I am afraid I did watch Nightmare Before many years ago. Absolutely loved it! Sadly it wasn’t in a reaction 😞

2024-12-10 06:21:33 +0000 UTCNgl, surprised Nightmare Before wasn't there, but maybe you've watched it before? (if so please say so, I'd love to watch your reaction). Happy for w/e you choose, but I do think Notre Dame is fitting at this time.

2024-12-10 06:15:56 +0000 UTCAh snap, sorry I was sure I included Notre Dame!! :( Next time!!

2024-12-02 18:05:35 +0000 UTCRecommendation: It's not Xmas per se but i remember it would always air on TV at that time, and it's a multipart movie/mini series (depending on which language i believe it got cut to different lengths): 10th Kingdom From the list you have, I'd def. recommend the Grinch. ____ About this poll, I wanted to mention: You have "How to train a Dragon" in it, but it's a Trilogy, not a standalone x: also sad to see, noone wants to see Notre Dame :( and even less "the last unicorn" QAQ its beautiful

2024-11-28 16:05:48 +0000 UTCPersonally I think The new Dune is this Generations Lord of the Rings, Denis Villneuve is my favorite director. Arrival is another favorite. Shrek 1 and 2 are absolute comedy gold btw :)
Samantha
2024-11-26 15:21:15 +0000 UTCI also recommend nightmare before christmas (its a Halloween & Christmas movie imo) and miracle on 34th street
Steven

2024-11-07 16:08:55 +0000 UTCI vote for Muppets Christmas carol ❤️ my family watches it every year! This year is the first year my son will be old enough to understand it too - so excited to watch it with him this year ☺️

2024-11-07 00:52:29 +0000 UTCI really think you would love the Muppets Christmas Carol – it's a fantastic version, I think. Not sure I've got anymore suggestions, but I love this post since I'm getting a lot of suggestions for myself! I might check out a lot of these.

2024-11-06 23:20:17 +0000 UTCthe classics Scrooge: A Christmas Carol (1951) and white christmas
Simon audsley
2024-11-06 19:15:14 +0000 UTCWe have on Netflix the movie: A boy called Christmas. I love that movie!
Louisa
2024-11-05 21:46:10 +0000 UTCThere's an animated Christmas movie on Netflix that is very good : "Klaus" (not even too cheesy, which is recurrent to this genre, lol)
Blobina Random
2024-11-04 21:49:37 +0000 UTCI love The Year Without a Santa Claus! It's so nostalgic :)
Grace S
2024-11-04 20:49:57 +0000 UTCPlease watch muppets Christmas carol!!! My family watches it every year, though if you do make sure to watch the extended cut with extra sing, it adds so much to the film
Becca knits
2024-11-04 07:16:22 +0000 UTCChristmas movie: Violent Night (you might not like stuff like that but I found it enjoyable)
Nicole
2024-11-04 03:27:13 +0000 UTCHi Veggie, All the movies on your Christmas List are worth a watch! I also recommned Noelle on DisneyPlus with Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader. It is a new take on Santa and really sweet! I also love Christmas with the Kranks, Miracle on 34th Street, and A Christmas Story. I think you will adore everyone's suggestions :)
Kari
2024-11-03 22:21:58 +0000 UTCElf is the only Xmas moving I can watch each year without getting bored of, I reckon its your vibe. Also Edward Scissorhands is iconic and a must-see! Also Jojo Rabbit, incredible you'll love it!
Emily
2024-11-03 22:21:44 +0000 UTCI haven't seen most of the movies on your Christmas list, so can't recommend many. It's pretty weird because I've seen a ton of movies. Apparently, Christmas movies aren't my thing. Of your list, It's a Wonderful Life, Home Alone 2,Elf, The Santa Clause, and Love Actually are pretty good. Have you seen Jack Frost? It's a not often thought of movie that I liked when it came out.
Hanneli Norrgard
2024-11-03 22:00:10 +0000 UTCKlaus is a newer movie on Netflix and it might be my favourite Christmas movie. Home alone 2 is good fun before they go down hill. I also like the grinch movies, always watch them in December.
Jacob sparks
2024-11-03 21:22:10 +0000 UTCScrooged is my annual Christmas movie! A modern (for when it was made) twist on a classic tale with a great cast. Speaking of classics, if you are willing to venture into puppetry, Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas is an underrated gem.
RavenLord
2024-11-03 21:17:50 +0000 UTCwhen i was a youngin (from quebec) it was much more common to watch short stop-motion specials for christmas, and they'd air daily on most channels in December !! The old rudolph & certain Frosty shows were part of the lineup, but I am BEGGING you to check out "The Year Without a Santa Claus" (1974) and "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" (1970) if you've never seen them !! The misers are ICONIC
Goblin
2024-11-03 20:19:29 +0000 UTC:( non of my suggestions made the poll. maybe next time :)
Garfnob
2024-11-03 19:16:10 +0000 UTCChristmas film wise, I'd go for Love Actually. It's an enjoyable ensemble film with a lot of well-known actors. I also recommend Edward Scissorhands. It's a beautiful quirky film.
KateFS
2024-11-03 18:49:48 +0000 UTCIf I only got to rec you 2 Christmas movies, they would be White Christmas (the old one with Bing Crosby) & The Muppets Christmas Carol. I grew up with several others being traditionally watched each year as a kid, mostly the claymation classics from the 1960s (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Little Drummer Boy, etc.)
Audra Foxgrove
2024-11-03 18:38:37 +0000 UTCI adore the Muppets Christmas Carol and I usually try to also watch the classic Grinch (animated), Frosty and Rudolph at Christmas time. So those would be my top suggestions!
SavageKim
2024-11-03 18:27:53 +0000 UTCWhile we on the subject of recommending staff, Starkid production called "Ani: The Parody" - star wars parody would be great fit for you, I know you're a fan of both ;)
Mordimer
2024-11-03 18:06:12 +0000 UTCMuppet Christmas Carol and Love Actually are THE Christmas movies!!
Mio
2024-11-03 17:40:54 +0000 UTCThe Ref is one of my favorite (unconventional) Christmas movies. And Mixed Nuts is a guilty pleasure Christmas movie. 🙂
Mrs. Peacock
2024-11-03 17:27:33 +0000 UTCThe Christmas movies on this list that I think you should see first are It's a Wonderful Life, Muppets Christmas Carol, The Grinch (the animation), The Grinch (the live-action), Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964), and The Santa Clause.
Britney Lee
2024-11-03 16:58:05 +0000 UTCSeriously, you absolutely need to watch White Christmas, It’s a Wonderful Life and Love Actually they are my favourites, you’ll love them. Home Alone is also a favourite so HA2 is also good, There’s also soo many good movies on this poll, I feel like I’ve picked half the list, at least.
Delia P
2024-11-03 16:51:11 +0000 UTCChristmas movies of those you listed: love actually, elf, the santa clause and Edward Scissorhands 💙
x_Rhi_x
2024-11-03 16:37:22 +0000 UTCAnother Finnish option is animation called The Flight Before Christmas. A young reindeer who suffers from vertigo learns to overcome his fear, takes flying lessons from a clumsy flying squirrel and heads to the North pole to save a troubled Santa and his fleet of flying reindeer.
Johanna
2024-11-03 16:29:40 +0000 UTCOkay, my favourite Christmas movies are it’s a wonderful life and a muppets Christmas carol, and they were top of the “haven’t seen” list lol!! Honestly, it’s a wonderful life is one of the most life affirming movies I’ve ever seen. It’s so emotional and beautiful and really makes you glad to be alive!! I think you’ll love it. A muppets Christmas carol is actually kind of similar in terms of the storyline, it’s like the inverse of it’s a wonderful life, it’s just so beautiful but silly and so much fun!! As you might be able to tell, I like my Christmas movies with a moral of the story baked in and these films are amazing. But I’d take it’s a wonderful life first, I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love it 🖤 it’s more about what Christmas means than about the event of Christmas !! Please watch !!! (I also love Love Actually but I’m focusing on my two faves first)
Giorgia M
2024-11-03 16:24:12 +0000 UTCThe lampoon's Christmas vacation is a must watch, it's one of my favourite things to watch in the run up towards Christmas. Also Home Alone 2 is amazing, I'd even go so far as to say it's better than the first in some aspects. Arthur Christmas is also a great film, I always enjoy watching it. In terms of the Grinch, it's been my tradition for many years to watch the original cartoon version on Christmas eve, not sure if you've seen that one or not.
Snowspeeders &space shuttles
2024-11-03 16:17:08 +0000 UTCSeconded!
Lime Pie
2024-11-03 16:16:38 +0000 UTC"It's a Wonderful Life" is probably THE all time greatest and most iconic Christmas movie! "Love Actually" would also be very fun, and I'd call it a big part of the British cultural canon. So I think you'd have a blast watching that one too.
Justin James
2024-11-03 16:15:28 +0000 UTCmiracle on 34th street (1947) Fills me up with Christmas spirit every time.
Fritz
2024-11-03 16:09:32 +0000 UTCIf you are in a mood to watch a bit different christmas tale, then there is a Finnish movie called Rare Exports which includes fantasy and horror. Greetings from Finland ;D.
Johanna
2024-11-03 16:09:23 +0000 UTCOh please watch Muppets Christmas Carol, it is my favourite Christmas movie ever!
SapientButterfly
2024-11-03 15:53:45 +0000 UTCLove Actually: You’ll recognise so many of the cast, you’ll have an amazing experience watching it! Polar Express: It’s the most wholesome Christmas film I know, with a beautiful score. Elf: It’s just a really fun time!
Kamilla Mari
2024-11-03 15:53:19 +0000 UTCSuch a good suggestion !!

2024-11-03 15:52:58 +0000 UTCHave you ever seen Eloise at the Plaza? Very cute Xmas-y film
Nyssa Rawther 🍉
2024-11-03 15:46:51 +0000 UTCHoliday movie suggestion: (technically isn't strictly a xmas movie, but has several holiday characters) Rise of the Guardians
Huldra Draco
2024-11-03 15:46:33 +0000 UTCIf you haven’t seen love actually you need to, it’s got so many famous British actors!
Garry (Not Jerry)
2024-11-03 15:46:25 +0000 UTCI HIGHLY recommend “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Absolutely incredible film.
Erica C
2024-11-03 15:43:35 +0000 UTCYou should definitely do the Muppets Christmas carol, and if you haven't seen it's Christmas Charlie Brown then that would be a good one too!
Grace S
2024-11-03 15:43:34 +0000 UTCNot a Christmas movie, but might I also suggest “Dr Horrible’s sing along blog”. It’s a one-off Joss Whedon short film and it’s fantastic. I’m Not sure how well known it is so it might not get a lot of votes, but it’s only as long as a single Buffy/Angel episode
Garry (Not Jerry)
2024-11-03 15:43:03 +0000 UTCThe polar express is my favourite Christmas movie that I watch every year so I’d love your reaction to it!
Tiegan
2024-11-03 15:43:01 +0000 UTCOh yes christmas movies wise I always have to watch it's a wonderful life and the santa clause with tim allen around christmas day. I used to watch a lot more than that because I had nothing to do on christmas day before I met my partner and had children haha it used to be a bit depressing tbf now I enjoy christmas a lot more than in my teens and twenties 💖
Liz
2024-11-03 15:42:25 +0000 UTCYou definitely need to check out the live action Grinch, and ‘its a wonderful life’ if you haven’t already
