We're actually going through X-Men movies and other classic Marvel movies from 2000s first before starting MCU reactions and she's going to need to watch MCU movies in release order by starting Iron Man (2008). Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) starring Tom Holland is the 16th film of MCU.

I also cried after seeing what happened to Gwen at the end. π’ The ending did happened like in the comics when Spider-Man couldn't save Gwen during the battle of the Green Goblin (Norman Osborn). Peter's cell phone has the Spider-Man 1967 theme ringtone. The theme song of the 1967 cartoon show Spider-Man was composed by Paul Francis Webster and Bob Harris. You might remember the character J. Jonah Jameson from Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man movies played by J.K. Simmons. He is typically depicted as a middle-aged, grumpy, and pompous man with a distinctive physical appearance. His most recognizable traits are his flattop haircut, moustache, and ever-present cigar. He's the editor-in-chief of Daily Bugle newspaper and Peter always takes photos of Spider-Man and sell it to Jameson for newspaper publishing. Felicia is another character in Spider-Man comics. Her full name is Felicia Hardy and she's also called The Black Cat. Black Cat is a skilled cat burglar and a complex antiheroine who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #194 (1979) comic. She is best known for her romantic and complicated relationship with Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Jamie Foxx did phenomenal playing as Max Dillon/Electro and the CGI effects look incredibly good. Electro having the power of the electricity looks very cool. At 1:31:58 timestamp, the four mechanical arms is indeed Dr. Otto Octavius also known as Doctor Octopus from Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man 2 movie. When Harry Osborn takes the Goblin serum (referred to as the "special projects" spider venom), it triggers a rapid and painful transformation due to his genetic illness which he becomes the Green Goblin (the same one that killed his father, Norman Osborn). The serum accelerates the disease rather than curing it. The Green Goblin suit includes medical technology that stabilizes his condition after the serum causes his body to deteriorate. However, at the end of the movie, when we see Harry imprisoned in Ravencroft, he looks noticeably better and his face appears more healed, the skin tone is more natural, and the extreme goblin features have lessened. The spider venom caused a rapid and chaotic mutation, but after the initial shock, Harry's body might have begun to adapt and stabilize. The mutation was possibly not permanent in its monstrous form. Ravencroft Institute is known for experimenting on or treating superpowered individuals. It's possible that the scientists there helped contain or manage his condition, leading to a more normalized appearance. Even though he looks better, he still retains some Goblin features, slightly altered skin, a more menacing appearance suggesting he's not cured, just more stable. From Tobey Maguire's first Spider-Man movie, he did encountered Norman Osborn/Green Goblin played by William Dafoe. Gustav Fiers also known as The Gentleman is a mysterious man with ties to Oscorp. Fiers visited Curt Connors after he was imprisoned in Beloit Psychiatric Asylum, following his bio-attack over New York City as The Lizard. He questioned Connors as to whether he'd told Peter Parker the truth about his father. Connors told him to leave Peter alone, causing Fiers to simply disappear. Mr. Fiers visited Harry Osborn in his prison cell at Ravencroft Institute. They began to talk about building a team (possibly Sinister Six), and Harry requested it be a small one. He suggested that they begin with Aleksei Sytsevich also known as The Rhino. Fiers later walked in to a level in Oscorp Tower, being greeted by the computer, and walked past the Doctor Octopus, Vulture, and Rhino suits. The Sinister Six is a team of six random villains who have a common enemy which is Spider-Man. It's unfortunate that there is no third movie. Many fans have been begging Sony to make The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and I really wish and hope Sony can make that happen. There is Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU played by Tom Holland and of course, we will get to MCU movies reactions starting Iron Man (2008) later in the future.
