X-MEN (2000) 🍞 FULL REACTION

Comments

At 39:21 timestamp on your reaction video, Stan Lee (creator of Marvel superheroes) made a cameo appearance on the beach scene (the guy wearing sunglasses and light blue shirt) next to the food cart with the umbrella and television when Senator Kelly arrived on the beach while everyone were looking at him discovering he's a mutant. In the X-Men world, a portion of the population is born with the X-Gene, which grants them superhuman abilities which are called mutants. In X-Men comics, it was very sad that humanity fears and hate mutants and there has been lot of discrimination issues. The mutants face persecution, often treated as second-class citizens, hunted, or forced to register with the government. The Mutant Registration Act is a law requiring mutants to reveal their identities, echoing real-world historical injustices. The X-Men, founded by Professor Charles Xavier also known as Professor X, were created to establish peace between humans and mutants and to protect both groups from those mutants who misuse their powers. The X-Men's decision to help humans is because all life, human or mutant, has value, and the X-Men strive to create a world where both can live in peace. They see themselves as a bridge between humans and mutants, aiming to foster understanding and coexistence. Additionally, some X-Men members, like Professor X, believe that mutants have a moral obligation to protect humanity, while others, like Magneto, initially believed in mutant superiority. There are some good humans who are caring to mutants. Characters of the X-Men: - Professor X: uses telepathy. - Magneto: Holocaust survivor and controls metal with magnetic powers. - Wolverine: A mutant with a healing factor and has Adamantium claws that can cut through anything. - Storm: controls weather. - Jean Grey: has telepathic and telekinesis powers - Cyclops: shoots energy beams from his eyes. - Rogue: can absorb the powers, memories, and physical traits of others through skin-to-skin contact. Rogue with white hair in front is comic accurate. - Bobby Drake also known as Iceman: controls ice powers. - John Allerdyce also known as Pyro: controls fire but doesn't produce fire which he needed a lighter. - Kitty Pryde: intangibility which she can phase through walls. - Sabretooth: he's a psychotic maniac. - Mystique: a shapeshifter. - Toad: frog like powers. The height of Wolverine in the comics is 5' 3 feet tall and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in this movie is 6' 2 feet tall. Despite the height differences, Hugh Jackman is amazing as Wolverine. Spider-Man is a mutate superhero. In the Marvel universe, mutants and mutates are two different types of superpowered individuals. Mutates are regular humans who gain powers due to external factors like radiation, chemical exposure, or scientific experiments. They do not have the X-Gene. When Peter Parker got bitten by radioactive spider, that makes him a mutate.
