My... GOODNESS we needed this episode! XD Who would have thought Harmony would be in a Angel episode!! XD
Really like how Angel is trying to make things right, but also having tiny little digs at Wesley here! It is really good to see him being more open and friendly with the team! Hope it lasts! XD
The Willow phone call was amazing! XD Cordie's face change when Willow told her... about herself was classic! XD

Does your brother show any extra interest in watching Angel since you’ve started watching? There’s been so many Buffy characters popping up in the show so far. Besides Angel, Cordelia, and Wesley, there’s also been Buffy, Spike, Oz, Faith, Willow, Darla, Drusilla, The Master, Harmony, and Anne (and I guess the Watchers Council). Surprised that doesn’t intrigue him but he must have just really not liked the episodes he saw. 😀

2024-09-10 15:21:41 +0000 UTCOh, Angel! Why'd he have to lie to Cordelia like that? I felt sorry for Harmony too. She didn't have any mentor, so suddenly she just woke up as a vampire and no one to show her how to be evil, which is actually a benefit if she wanted to choose a non-evil path. She's just all confused. But she works really well as a character on this show because she used to be in Cordelia's group and the humor surrounding her fits in well. You'd never expect her to turn out to be so funny back on early Buffy when she was only just a mean bully. I think there's an upcoming episode with Cordelia wearing one of Harmony's outfits.

2024-09-08 01:18:46 +0000 UTCMercedes McNab is always such a treat as Harmony - her charisma and comedic timing are so good - and I love goofy Angel. David's range is surprisingly overlooked when you consider just how many different iterations we've seen of his character. It's a very demanding role, and while I love the serious stuff, I'm also a sucker for when he gets to loosen up. Especially after the seriousness of this season and Buffy S5 so far, this energy is a welcome change of pace, and it carries forward to an extent through last quarter of the season. Thanks for the laughs Veggie 💜

I really should give it another go, as I am sure this isn't fair. As for the other shows, I really haven't seen much of the British scene, but have been planning on going to a few shows soon! :) If you don't know, I recently started a secondary channel called 'Veggie Wrestling' on Youtube. Right now it is only prediction videos, but plan on posting a whole lot more! :)

2024-09-07 19:28:07 +0000 UTCBuffy mentioned Dawn to Angel in the last Buffy episode and he didn’t act surprised that she had a sister. Since Angel was also in LA when Dawn was made human, I think it’s safe to assume that Cordy also got the memories too.

The end scene with Wesley lecturing Angel only to have Cordelia immediately forgive him once she sees all the clothes he bought her is one of my favorites, so hilarious. I definitely think Angel & Cordy were friends before he became obsessed with Darla and hellbent on vengeance on Wolfram and Hart. Everything they went through in season 1 - from the threat of Angel becoming Angelus again to losing/grieving Doyle together really bonded them

2024-09-07 17:39:33 +0000 UTCVeggie Gamer...LET ME TALK TO YA! This was a very-needed comedy break! Harmony is an absolute delight. Every scene she's in is gold! Limes are delicious! The only pejorative for the English that I ever heard was 'Limey', and it came about because the late 19th century British Navy used lime juice to prevent and cure scurvy, which is caused by a deficiency of vitamin C. So they essentially tease the Brits for being smart and clever and health conscious. YEAH!!
