####### EPISODE SPOILER REVIEW BELOW! APPARENTLY SOME OF YOU ARE WATCHING FOR THE FIRST TIME ALONG SIDE ME, SO PLEASE DON'T READ BEYOND THIS POINT UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN THE EPISODE YOURSELF! ######

------

Wow.. powerful episode!  It was a great twist finding out.. 'what' Shy was, and I definitely expected her to be a semi-long running character!

I should say... I go hard on Oz in this one.. I am NOT happy with him one bit! XD  I get the feeling that there will be comments below saying I wasn't seeing it from his side / taking into account his situation, but while watching, I was having none of it. ^^;  I really look forward to reading your opinions on this episode.

And that last scene really broke me up.  We will have to see if and when we get a Return of Oz (that was meant to be a pun, but then I remembered the movie is called 'Return TO Oz'....

Sad Willow is unacceptable! :(

Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

As always, if you click the video just after this post, you may need to  download it first.  This should be fixed in a couple of hours!

Almost caught up!! :D My least favorite episode to date - 2nd least favorite overall - is 1x4, Teacher's Pet. And it's not TERRIBLE, it's just meh.

Your commitment to calling her Shy even though they call her Veruca all episode is hilarious lol! Her name is Veruca, her band is called Shy. It's very funny. I feel sorry for Oz. Nobody can understand what he's going through, really. He seems like someone who is very moral and always gives something a lot of thought before making a decision. He didn't choose to sleep with Veruca, he couldn't control it, and I don't blame him for that. I keep trying to figure out why he lied - the real issue here - and I wish he'd given some explanation. I keep returning to the fact that as much as he wanted to stop Veruca from hurting/killing people, he didn't want to get her in trouble with Buffy, at least at first. He wanted to help her. Maybe he thought if he told Willow, she'd run to tell Buffy. And he'd be right... I don't think he should have thrown her affair with Xander in Willow's face, but he's not wrong. She couldn't control herself around Xander, but really she should have done. There was no valid reason for anything they did. They were on the verge of sleeping together for the first time when he and Cordelia found them. And he took some time to reflect and realised he loved her enough to forgive her that huge mistake (I don't think I could). He LITERALLY can't control what he did as a wolf, and she should be able to forgive that. The lying is different, but there was a reason for it and he should have explained and/or she should have asked why. There was a conversation to be had there. It's weird that they gloss over that, that's on the writing. It could have been just one line defending himself.
