Buffy + Angel Watch Order & Schedule Announcement (plus more)!

I hope the decision it at least acceptable, I worry there is no 'perfect' option, as your feedback on this was very diverse. But I think this is at least the way that will work for the time being. If you all completely disagree, we can have another go at working out how best to cover this all in good time.
Having 2 slots a week for this will be tough due to RL commitments at the moment, but hopefully we can get into a smooth run!
Love you, guys! Please let me know if you like or dislike this decision. I also talk about how I know this may not be great for people that aren't into Buffy OR Angel, and that I will try and get you more Potter and other stuff in the coming future too!
OH! And the FIRST SEASON 4 BUFFY SHOULD APPEAR HERE VERY SOON!! :)

2023-10-18 17:30:27 +0000 UTCI was hoping for release order, but since you're upping it to 2 episodes a week, I'm happy either way, since it wont mean, in some causes, 6 weeks without buffy for instance, which happens when using the guide.

I know there are a lot of voices demanding different things, but the majority of fans will be happy with whatever solution you find, and this is probably the ideal solution in my opinion. As a thank you for going above and beyond, and to hopefully help you out a bit, I've increased my monthly subscription to you, something I've been meaning to do for a while. Thanks Veggie! Can't wait to see what you make of Angel and the second half of Buffy!

Your enthusiasm for the things you watch is what drew me to you as a reactor in the first place, and I'd hate for it to become so overwhelming for you that it won't give you as much enjoyment anymore. Not just for my sake as a viewer, but for you personally. So please take care of yourself properly and don't worry too much about trying to please people, but do what works best for YOU! And if that should change in the future, don't be afraid to change whatever needs changing. RL first and foremost!

At the risk of confusing you more, there is a reactor's version of the Slayalive Guide that most reactors use. Apparently, it's not that different from the other, but it's supposed to be slightly better. But it really doesn't matter to me which way you do it. I'm here for it either way. 2023-10-14 04:42:57 +0000 UTCIt's true, no matter which option you choose some people will get annoyed at having to wait for one series or the other, but myself (and hopefully many other people) will be perfectly happy no matter what because we are here for both series and can watch with any watch order :) I do like the order you chose best though myself :)

I suppose the only thing I can say is that there will be a silent majority who will respect whatever way you choose to watch them even if they personally prefer a different method (RavenLord's comment being a good demonstration of that) :)

I'm not super familiar with the watch order mentioned, but from my understanding it seems ideal, so long as it doesn't suggest skipping entire episodes or anything .. I'm also really hoping the folks who despised watching Angel might find some fun this time around via "hanging out" with you while you check it out. Seriously can't wait to see what you think of it! P.S- There's definitely a sizeable community around Invincible (and loads of animated shows in general!!) P.P.S- Is there a place to suggest future shows to check out (or an ideal time, at least?) There are a few titles I'd love to throw in the pot, even if you only get to them ages from now lmao

Regardless, I am excited about continuing on the Buffy/Angel journey with you! *Reminder* Do not watch the opening credits for the Angel pilot episode! We want to see your surprise, and the opening credits have a spoiler. After Episode 1, the intro will be safe to watch. There are some episodes later on that we will advise you not to watch the guest credits after the intro plays, but that won't be for awhile yet.

I just wanted to say, I hope this process hasn't been too difficult! Fans can get very intense about the Buffy-Angel watching decisions. FWIW, I would be supporting you no matter what!
