I really enjoyed this! Definitely some things that were more similar than I expected (as well as some that were WAY different than I thought they would be)!
It is really awesome to see this while enjoying what the show would eventually become! Now on to Season 4!!

I was a child, watching the first ever episode of Knight Rider, The Pilot, and I remember saying to my mother "But it has nothing to do with pilots!" 🤦♂️😂 Buffy & Xander's dynamic is fascinating in this- it feels like he's introduced as the best friend, rather than Willow.

2023-10-14 14:44:35 +0000 UTCThat pilot nearly killed the series before it even started, LOL. The actor who played Willow in it was only in a few projects before she left show business altogether. To my eyes, she didn't look enough like a high school student to play one, though I do appreciate she wasn't the typical slender person they always seem to cast in shows; it was nice to see something different there. But I couldn't picture her long-term as Willow, knowing the future episodes (which I will not get into, of course!) and the various scenes that will be coming up.
