Here is it guys! The end of the story, and what a way to go out!
I do think this may actually be my favourite of the bunch, I'll have to try and rank them some time, so keep an eye out for that in the future!
Couple of things - I misidentify a couple of characters during the chaos, but correct myself when I can! I also call Padma Pravati several times, so sorry about that! I also look some things up just for clarification during the credits!
Loved this one! Oh and one more final note...
Be prepared to watch a grown man ugly cry a lot. XD
Love you guys! And remember, there is plenty more Potter themed content coming to the Patreon and Youtube Channel in the future!!

I've loved being on this journey with you! Please check out A Very Potter Musical. Darren Criss helped write the music for it. The girl who plays Malfoy is absolutely hilarious!

I LOVED your reaction! I didnt like seeing you cry (i cried with you) but it meant alot to see how much youve grown to care for the characters and how much empathy you have. I truly loved you reviews and im excited to stick around for everything else. I wanted to point out that the books go into a lot more depth about Patronus and we learn why snape having a doe was SO meaningful, as well as some other patronuses that were very meaningful. Also in the books tonks pregnacy is a much bigger parnt of the book!

Fantastic reaction, I really really enjoyed watching this with you! Don't worry about crying, I was right there with you even though I've seen the movie and read the books countless of times now haha! You mentioned watching the musical? I hope its 'A Very Harry Potter Musical' and not another (if there is a different one) and that you get to watch all of them, I would love to see your reaction to that hahaha!

While there is section of time spent on the credits, as all movies do, the extended edition does have quite of bit information that is not given during the theatrical and is worth watching as to not get to confused. Also would recommend watching the Hobbit for him if LTOR is on the table at all as well. That series has so much lore in it that it makes my head spin, love it.

Ron is so good in this movie. I think part of the issue is people not understanding him. We have seen from the start he comes from a large but poor family. His oldest brothers work for gringotts and works with dragons. Then you have Percy who was prefect then head boy who went off to work for the ministry. The twins, while being goofballs ended up with a successful business. Ron even gets shadowed by Ginny being the only girl in the family. Then you have his best friends, the "chosen one" and the smart one. He's always over looked and you can't blame him for feeling the way he does. He always feels last in comparison to everyone else. Ron in part 1 also wore the horcrux a long time, which just fed into his fears and made them worse. Letting everything build up to the point he finally snapped. It's once he took it off and left that his mind got cleared, its why he instantly regretted what he did. If he hadn't worn the horcrux for hours and hours he never would have said anything, but in a way I feel it was the right move. I think he needed to say what his fears were and take his time to really think things over. It wasn't by random chance Hermione says his name when she does. Well it was but it just happened to be the right time for Ron to be needed back. So in a way it was meant to be. Once he was back he was able to forget being overshadowed. He let it make him stronger.
I do not find the dance between Harry and Hermione as being romantic. He knows she is feeling down and wanted to help her feel better and smile, even if for a moment.
When McGonagall attacks Snape you can actually see Snape never attacks back, he redirects her attack to the Carrows behind him to knock them out.

Loved this, Veggie!!! I have a lot of thoughts which I’m not sure how to express. One thing I will say, have a look online to what people suggest for LOTR reactions because I’ve seen a lot of reactors express disappointment that the extended editions were mostly just an added 30 minutes thanking fans in the credits. I’m not sure how much value they add to the experience!! It’s choice though, I’m not the most informed 🤓 just thought I’d mention it because they are very long already.

Fun Fact as I've started replaying lego harry potter from my childhood. Voldemorts original lego depiction in the game before Goblet of Fire is very book accurate with red eyes. Upon the end of year 4 he turns into movie Voldemort. Unsure how to link the between pictures but literally they changed character models from the more book accurate to the more movie accurate version. Which makes sense as the years 5-7 game is a direct recreation of the films iconic scenes.

Edit: I think this is the video where you can best see what happens in the deleted scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6m4vuT_pME. In others it is really very short and if you don't know what happens it's very hard to catch it. But there are also other deleted scenes from this movie that are definitely worth checking out. I would love to see your reaction to them:)

Thank you so much for this reaction series! I've really enjoyed watching every single one and I love how invested you were/are. And don't apologise for crying, I always cry during those scenes and I've seen it idk how many timesXD Snape's memories (which is imo one of the only scenes more powerful in the movie than in the book), Neville's speech, Harry seeing his parents and friends in the forrest. They just always get me! Also wow, what a prediction with the Slytherins! Made me laugh out loud when you said that! As others have pointed out, a lot of questions/ issues you raised here are covered in the book so I won't get into them since you are reading them. I cannot wait! Just one little thing about Draco: he does have a redemption arc that is in a deleted scene (I think it is on Youtube). I won't tell you what happens but I highly recommend you check that out! It is awesome if very short:) Oh, and one thing that I have always loved (and idk if it is intended) is that Harry and Voldemort both die from the spells that have the colours of their eyes: Harry is killed (briefly) with the Avadakedavra (sry if I spelled that wrong) curse which is green like his eyes and Voldemort dies after Harry disarms him with the Expelliarmus which is red like his eyes are supposed to be. Always liked that little "Easter Egg" and I hope you enjoy it too.

Thank you so much for the reaction! It has been such a fun journey with these movies!! I'm excited about whatever is next! If I could suggest a Harry Potter related thing, there is a youtube channel called "The Take" and they did a series of videos that breaks down each Hogwarts House in detail and it is a very interesting watch. Whether you react to it or not, it's a good few videos to watch!
Other suggestions of shows, The Umbrella Academy is wonderful! This is Us is a great one that I don't see too many people react too.

Alan Rickman was told by JK how his story will go already in the beggining so he acted the whole way like that,he had many small disagreeing with the directors about it,since the director didnt know about it. Also a great thing watch back Snape killing Albus, you can hear at the end Alan's voice chuckle a bit, like almost crying.I believe that was on purpose and its absolutely awesome he managed to make it,like not spoiling or giving away anything with his acting, but watching the movies back you clearly can see that he spread some crumbles to make it accurate, I'm absolutely dissapointed he didnt get an Oscar for his performance in DH 2,In Snape memory he just amazing. I have seen it thousands of times and still cant watch him without sheding a few tears.

I just finished watching so I'm slightly speechless so I'll keep it brief. This one was brilliant, it really felt like watching it for the first time, so much so I was jittering! oh, and don't apologise for crying during reaction as it *is* a reaction! Have to add a sad bit - the dead Weasley brother (not just a twin) is Fred and his death is much much sadder in the book... it was the biggest blow for me personally out of all deaths in the book, even though I knew he'd die when I first read it. Can't wait to join you on the book journey now!! Much love from Poland 🥰❤❤

It's been a pleasure rewatching the series with you! In this movie I cry every time during The Prince's Tale (that's what the chapter with Snape's memories is called), and I ugly cry every time I watch Hermione volunteer to go with Harry info the forest. You crying during so many parts is normal and refreshing, since we can tell you are actually invested in the story, and not just creating content solely for views at this point (like so many other reactors).

Just a side note to the Patil twin sisters. Parvati is the one, we see mostly in the movie because she is also in Gryffindor. Padma is in Ravenclaw, so we don't hear that much about her. In the movies we only see her in the Goblet of Fire, she is Rons date at the Yule Ball.
Also something that isn't mentioned in the books is that every hogwarts founder had some kind of "item". Godric Gryffindor had his sword, Rowena Ravenclaw her diadem, Helga Hufflepuff the cup (the horcrux they find in Bellatrix' vault in Gringotts) and Salazar Slytherin his locket. So three of the four were made into horcruxes and one used to destroy horcruxes. Btw, did you know that the sorting hat used to be Gryffindors hat? When the school was founded, the four founders sorted the students by themelves. But when they got older, they searched for a way to do the sorting when they would be gone and finally Gryffindor enchanted his hat.
You also mentioned at some point that Voldemort looks like a snake. This is actually how he is supposed to look. Because he split his soul in so many peaces he looked less and less human every time he did it. In the books he also has red "snake eyes". They tried this in the movies but decided against it because it took away some of Ralph Fiennes acting away (is that a sentence? Sorry if it doesn't make sense, English is not my native language).
Looking forward the next book reviews, I'm enjoying your reactions very much!

Thank you SO MUCH for this reaction series! A couple of things you may have missed:
- Slughorn was likely not drinking alcohol, but instead Liquid Luck (seen in Half-Blood Prince.)
- When Snape and McGonnegal were duelling, you can see Snape directing the curses to the deatheaters behind him, so that when he escaped they wouldn't keep attacking.
- During the battle of Hogwarts, the trio fight off all the magical creatures that they fought off in the series, in the order they fought them. Trolls, acromantula, werewolf, dementors..
- The only time in the series that Snape calls Harry by his first name rather than 'Potter' is just before Snape tells Harry that he has his mother's eyes.
STAY AWESOME <3

It's so weird to me as a book reader that people would think that...but I guess a few minutes in a movie are just not enough to convey the content of an entire chapter full of vital information xD

It was Goyle who did the fiend fire spell, not Draco. But in the books it was Crabb. Though they made it Goyle in the movie for the previous reasons you mentioned as to the actor.

This was a phenomenal reaction as always, so glad we got to experience this journey with you! Looking forward to the book reviews!
A few more book-free clarifications, only based on the movies (I think none of the comments addressed these yet):
- The only confirmed wand-ownership change is Harry gaining ownership over Draco's just by disarming him. For the Elder Wand we only know rumours that it can be taken over by killing the previous owner - but realistically it could just be because the pursuit of winning that specific wand raises the stakes
- You were absolutely spot-on, the Resurrection stone earlier was on Voldemort's ring
- Glad you picked up on the Harry/Narcissa (Malfoy's mum) scene, lots of reactors misunderstand it as if she calls Harry Draco ("Draco, is he alive?")
- Not a book spoiler because the book actually has a different location for the Voldemort/Snape showdown, but in the movie it's the Hogwarts boathouse where first-years arrive to
- And finally, don't feel bad, there was no way of figuring out the Snape/Lily storyline in any way through the movies (to be honest, not so much in the books either) - it is a plot twist that makes so much sense in hindsight, yet we were given almost zero clues on the way there

Please, please, please don't apologize for crying during your reaction! When I first saw this movie, the theater played parts 1 and 2 back to back. I cried the whole way through!!
I'm so glad you paid attention during Snape's memories! He is so interesting and complex. I'm pretty sure his patronus is a doe because of his feelings for Lily. He loved her so much, but she chose James, which just added to the many reasons Snape hated him. If you can, go back to the dueling scene between McGonagall and Snape in the great hall. Pay attention the last spell and what Snape does with it...
Also, the prophecy that was mentioned: basically it was prophesied that a boy would be born at the end of July (Harry's birthday is July 31) to parents who had faced Voldemort 3 times, and that boy would be Voldemort's ultimate downfall. Well...there was another boy born at the end of July (July 30) to parents who had faced Voldemort 3 times (guess who!!). But because Voldemort thought it was Harry, that's who the prophecy became about.
The fire spell in the Room of Requirement is called feindfyre. It's a dark curse and Goyle cast it, but he couldn't control it. You can see him shaking his wand trying to make it stop and he eventually throws it away.
Arianna Dumbledore...I won't say any spoilers here, but her story is explained in the book. And once you hear it, you may connect it to some things in the first Fantastic Beasts movie....maybe...
I love that you wanted them to come back as teachers!! They don't say it here, but Neville is the Herbology professor in the epilogue :)
Once again, I love your reactions. I find myself trying to talk to you through the computer screen as you're saying things during the videos sometimes. Haha! I can't wait for what's next!!
OH! Also, fun little side note! I saw another person do a reaction to this movie and they made a fascinating connection that I didn't even make, and I've seen all the movies and read all the books multiple times! There is a parallel between the three brothers in the Deathly Hallows story and other characters. Voldemort, hungry for power, was killed like the first brother. Snape, died for love, like the second brother. And Harry, like the third brother, greeted death like an old friend. I love this and I thought you would appreciate it too :)

I always hated the fact that they cut out Tonks' pregnancy and son entirely, but left the part in before Harry faces Voldermort, and they discuss his son. For those that don't know the books, that has to have hit out of no where.
I know there's a very brief moment in part 1 where Tonks starts to make an announcement, but she's cut off by Mad Eye, and it's never brought up again.
Crazy the way they handled that.

Neville kills the snake destroying the last horcrux which makes him mortal, which makes it possible for Harry to kill Voldermort. When he battles Voldermort the last time , Voldermort uses the killing curse on Harry which back fires on him , because the elder wands answers only to Harry. You'll learn about what happens to wormtail in the books. I've sent you a private message Veggie x

Snape loved lily so much that his protronus was the same as hers , a doe. Also he risked his life everyday to protect Harry because of his love for her. Dumbledor knew this that's why he asks " after all this time " and Snape says " Always ". Dumbledore knew he was dying , so he asked Snape to kill him , so Draco would not be a murderer. Snape was a hero all the time , but played his part so well that even Voldamort didn't suspect him.

I would LOVE a lord of the rings reaction! I sometimes can't judge how good the HP story really is since it's been in my life since before i can remember. But I got into LOTR as an adult and it is on par if not slightly better than harry potter in my opinion!!! Doctor who is another one that I would absolutely love to see your reaction to - at least eccleston and tennant era. Another grat reaction, I really enjoyed it!
Some personal favourite funny moments:
- "We need to put the Slytherins into the dungeon"
- In the room of requirement: Veggie: "I don't want them to die! Please don't die! Don't die!"
Goyle: *dies*
- "Now all we need are some snakeskin boots!"
Also I really was kinda impressed how instantaneously you picked up on the fact that Bellatrix-Hermione saying "Good morning!" was dumb....watching the movie for the first time I didn't realize that until Griphook pointed it out🙈😅

Dumbledore's certainly a complicated character that has done questionable things.
However, I don't think he actually wanted Harry to be broken but to have some humility by not bringing him up with his fame. There is also no prrof that Dumbledore's the one that adresses the letters...in fact as it is McGonagal that signs them it would be way more likely that hse does it (though my personal headcanon is that they are just adressed wit some automated magical). That said:
I will agree with you that Dumbledore could easily have kept an eye on Harry without him knowing or revealing the wizarding world and could have made the Dursley's take better care of him! So I wouldn't say he meant for Harry to be broken, but I'll agree that he certainly didn't really try to prevent it or even bother to check, which is bad in and of itself.
As to the Sirius thing:
I think that theory is just grasped out of nowhere. Dumbledore did questionable things, but putting Sirius in jail and telling nobody that he's innocent and feign ignorance even when he escapes and enters the school? Nah, that makes no sense whatsoever.
SPOILERS:
Also: Sirius wasn't given a trial because Barty Crouch was being ruthless at that time and sending many people to Askaban.
And remember that everyone close to them (including Dumbledore) thought Sirius was James' and Lily's secret keeper and Dumbledore suspected that there was a spy close to the Potters relaying information to Voldemort. So from the outside it would make absolute sense to Dumbledore that Sirius was guilty and he would have no real reason to question the story.

Veggie in the break: "This is a joyous movie!"
Veggie 5 minutes later: 😭😭😭😭 Lol!
Remember the Tale of The Three Brothers and Deathly Hallows? It is mirrored in the story....
The one that died for love - Snape
The one that died drunk on power - Voldemort
The one that greeted Death as an old friend - Harry
'Death' - Dumbledore, at Kings Cross after Harry's sacrifice
I can't say how much I have enjoyed your reactions and discussions. And simply can't wait for the rest of the Harry Potter content. It makes me happy to see how much you love this world. I can't wait for you to disocver soooo much more in the books. I know you will love all the backstory missed out. Some books are like an entirely different story!
Some suggestions I haven't seen mentioned yet:
- Stranger Things
- Sherlock
- If you do Doctor Who, would love to see you do the 'Torchwood' spin off
- Merlin
- Hamilton

Pure credit to you, I watch a lot of YouTube and I don't think I have ever been as excited to watch a video as much as I was today. Much less could I have seen myself dedicating 3 hours to a single video!
It has been such a joy watching you cover the series, especially doing so from the perspective of someone who has not read the books. I felt like I have watched them for the first time all over again.
I'm glad my pointing out Boris the Blade had an impact. I will entertain myself imagining Gregorovitch as Boris refusing to die for quite a while.
And incorporating the footage really helped stay in sync. Earlier videos I was often slightly off. I found it a lot easier this time.
Ciarán Hinds played Abba4th (Aberforth) under heavy prosthetic. You picked up on the Dumbledore in the mirror, which is much harder to do without the book.
It was Lavender killed by Greyback, and being covered in the Great hall.
There are a lot of differences between the movies and the books. Some of that is because of time, but some of it is because of the different media. You don't have Harry's internal monologue on film and some things that work really well when written down might not have worked well on screen.
That said, I am excited for the book club. I will be watching.
I think some standalone movies could be fun. Maybe do a series but break them up occasionally with standalone films. That way people that have no interest in the chosen series still have a reason to stick around. And/or do a mix of a TV series and film franchise. Being able to switch between the two might help you manage your workload so you're not always committed to a long video about a movie and introduce some flexibility.
I echo the Buffy calls and also recommend Chuck. It's a very different show that had my life for several years.

This has been such a thrill! What a joy ride! Waiting for your videos has been like getting excited for the next movie to come out. So much fun to watch. Deathly Hallows Pt 2 still stands as one of my favorites, definitely top 3. Partly because I saw it in the cinema and it was emotional to say the least and because it was the last of the main series. I started reading these books at around 5 years old and this last movie came out when I was around 18-19, so it really was my childhood. I have loved every second of watching your reactions. I look forward to more book reviews (I won't spoil any of the details that the movies left out) and more great content. Thank you for creating these videos, Veggie. Thank you for letting us go back to Hogwarts with you!

Thank you so, so much for these wonderful, genuine reactions, they have made me so happy these last few months. I cannot express how much they've meant to me, and I'm sure I will watch them many, many more times. This movie is so brilliant but so incredibly heart-breaking, it tears me to pieces every time. Nice to have someone to cry along with for once.
These films are worth re-watching for a thousand reasons, but one of the best reasons is that Alan Rickman left SO many clues in his performance, clues that people simply don't pick up on until they know the full story. His acting in the memory sequence is (in my opinion) hands down the best performance of the entire series. No-one could have pulled that off like Alan Rickman.
Fun fact: Alan was the only person in the world, aside from J.K. Rowling, who knew the truth about Severus from the beginning. He had been hesitant to take on the role, not wanting to be typecast as a villain. But Rowling called him and told him the secret of "Always" and Severus' love for Lily, which convinced him it would be a role worth playing.
A few favourite moments looking back at the films:
~ When Severus instinctively shields Harry, Ron and Hermione from the werewolf (despite nearly having been killed by that same werewolf when he was a teenager)
~ When he says to Dumbledore, "Has it ever crossed your brilliant mind that I don't want to do this any more?", and the way his voice shakes as he says the Killing Curse.
~ The pain in Severus' face when McGonagall prepares to fight him... How he initially lowers his wand, as he still thinks of her as a friend and knows he doesn't want to fight her (also taking out the other two Death Eaters as he leaves).
To explain Severus' Patronus... Normally a Patronus reflects the true nature of the witch or wizard that conjures it. However, on very rare occasions, that person loves another so deeply that their Patronus changes to match the Patronus of the one they love. Severus' love for Lily defined him (and his truest, deepest nature) so much that either before or at the time of her death, his Patronus became a doe like hers, and remained so until the end of his life.
Such an incredible character and a wonderful, beautiful story. And yes, Remus and Tonks left behind a baby boy when they died. Of all the deaths in this series, Lupin and Severus hurt me most of all, and Lupin's character arc is SO much better in the books... Though there is a beautiful little deleted scene between Remus and Tonks from the final film that you could check out.
Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. Cannot wait to be taken along the rest of this journey with you!

I have absolutely loved watching you experience the Harry Potter movies for the first time. I don't even like the movies (I'm a book purist and they missed out so many important details or added unnecessary things into the movies) but your reactions were enough to make me watch along with you. Now I can't wait for you to experience the books for the first time 🙂
As a reaction suggestion I would definitely recommend the TV show Fringe. I am currently rewatching it for the first time and it's such an amazing show!

Loved your journey and fangrowth. Best news ever hearing you are a LOTR virgin. They are my favorite films in existence. The third film has won the most Academy Awards, tied with Titanic and Ben-Hur. Don't fear the length of the films. Thank you for your reactions.

Omg , this is my favourite reaction ever. Never apologise for your emotion it just shows you love the characters as much as us old time fans. OMG seeing that this reaction really improved the horrible day I've been having😭 I'm about halfway through now (might post more comments at the end) but I just wanted to share that my biggest complaint with the entire HP series is when McGonagall has the entirety of Slytherin house taken away so they can't fight in the battle. I honestly can't remember if this plays out the same in the books (and perhaps I'm overly sensitive to this issue as a Slytherin myself haha) - but I really think it contradicts one of the main messages HP always hammers home. In the words of Sirius, "The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.” By sending the entire house away, McGonagall doesn't give the Slytherin students the chance to make the right choice, she just assumes they must all be on Voldemort's side purely bc they were sorted into Slytherin. It feels very prejudicial, and I hate to say that about McGonagall, who is otherwise my favorite HP character. And we know that isn't how house identity works - look at Slughorn, Andromeda Tonks, Regulus Black!

Actually, you're right the first time. Neville killed the last horcrux. And that Voldemort "mortal" (for lack of a better word). That's why him and Harry continue to fight after the snake was killed. Voldemort does the killing curse and and basically Harry pushes the curse back at Voldemort.

So much pleasure in watching this again with you. I recommend that you watch the 20th Anniversary Special next and then move to Fantastic Beasts. It's not as good as the Harry Potter series (how could it be?) but it's very enjoyable and gives you an expanded view of this world since it's set decades before Harry Potter and is initially in America. After that I recommend that you do some stand alone films before you get back into another series. Or if you want a series maybe do a twist on the concept of series by choosing something like several films featuring a particular actor like Tom Hanks where you could do "The Green Mile", "Saving Private Ryan", "Cast Away" and "Forrest Gump" or perhaps a focus on a particular director like Steven Spielberg with "Jaws", "ET", "Poltergeist" and "Jurassic Park". You could focus on great Stephen King movies like "The Green Mile", "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Stand By Me". I look forward to watching your future reactions. It's just a pleasure to share great movies with you.

(I think I accidentally deleted my comment. If it’s still there and it just didn’t show up for me I apologize)
I absolutely loved your reaction to all movies, and this one again. I laughed and cried with you. I love your attention to details and how invested you got in everything. The death of the last marauder, Freds death and Snapes death always kill me. I personally can’t wait until you arrive at book 7, because while I think the fight in movie 8 was well done. The way it was written in the book is for me on a whole new level. I still vividly remember getting the book at midnight and just finishing the book the same night because I just couldn’t put it down. I bawled my eyes out during about the entire book.
I can’t wait for you to get to all the details and backstories in the books. Even though the movies are quite long a lot is still missing (which is quite logical of course). But that makes that there’s a lot for you left to discover. A lot of backstory for a lot of characters. We go way more in depth with most characters. And you’ll meet some new characters. Some very small but also a few pretty big ones (you’ve met one already, Peeves). I’m actually curious how your favorite characters will change from after only watching the movies, and after reading the books. Because I’m sure there will be some changes (maybe fun to do a tier list of characters after the movies, and once again after reading the books.)
My personal absolute favorite character is Luna (as you probably can deduce from my name). I identify so much with her. Really looking forward to you getting to know her better in the books.
I have a lot of thoughts about Cho. But until you have read the books I can’t get into them because that would spoil some things for you.
The death Trelawney and Parvati (yes that was Parvati, haha) were crying over was Lavender btw.
I would really recommend not looking up too much online yet. Everything will be explained in the books. And there will still be some nice surprises and twists in there. :)

It's impossible to sync up for me, your video seems to be slower than the movie so I keep having to pause the movie and play after a few seconds to stay synced up which is quite annoying. Not frustrated at you, :p and I'll keep doing it cuz I wanna get the entire reaction, but dunno if it's on my end or yours, seeing no other people commenting it which is weird. Don't know, maybe it's the HBO max version that's faster than normal.

Now, lets get into it. What i love most about this story is how much they focus on the power of a mothers love. It is repeaditly brought up because of Lily but the last film really brings it full circle wehen they show both Molly and Narcissa´s love for their children. I am a little worried about how much you love the Dursley´s, they truly are horrible to Harry and I know it only shows it from age eleven on but we all know it started so much earlier. The fact that Harry NEVER got a present before let alone a proper bedroom shows just how messed up they are. There are many other exaples but they would spoil the book so i wait till you´re all cought up. Now I have to talk about my favourite charakter in all the movies and books. Severus Snape! You said you that he is such a complex character. You have no idea how true that is. There is one major things we learn in the books that isn´t mentioned in the movies at all what underlines it so much. But what we do know is that he was utterly conflicted as soon as Harry stepped foot into Hogwarts. That he wouldn´t only have to teach but protect the son of the woman he loved and the man who bullied him all his life is truly heartbreaking. You can only imagine how he must have felt. I have to say that I always resentet Lily for the fact that she married her best friends bully. There is one pivitol point in the books, when Harry discovers that James bullied Snape that changed their relationship forever and I never got over how unforgiving and unempathic people can be. But all that is what makes it so unbelievably moving that Snape always looked out for him and in the end lost his life for it. I can´t wait until you hear what actually happened at the final confrantation between Harry and Voldemord. It is very diffrent than the one in the movies and you learn so much more of what happened. Now I regrattably have to tell you that you´re wrong about Neville. Yes, he did kill Nagini and therefore is a huge part in Riddle´s defeat, but... He is not the one who killed him. You will be surprised to learn how he actually died because the answer isn´t ovious. Now to my other favourtite character. Hermione... She is just awesome. Yes, Harry and Ron are often annoyied by her but... all she ever does is to look out for them. She is the one who pushes them to be great. She is the glue that keeps them all together. Yes, Harry is the main character but she is the one with the most important role. Harry could never have done what he did if it weren´t for his friends. I love the fact that they ecknowlage it in the story multiple times. She is not only the most talentet of them all but because she has this thirst to learn everything she possibly can, she is able to solve many a secret that even Dumbledore and the other teacher couldn´t figure out. To Ron... I am not the biggest fan. I realise that he has his own real struggles and that he did suffer just as anyone else, but sometimes he´s just a terrible person. And it´s not only because of the horcrux, it´s a recurring theme that starts in the very beginning. I have to disagree with you when you said that you can understand Ron when he abondonds them. He says that Harry doesn´t unerstand how it feels because his family is dead. I think this is exactly why Harry can understand it better than anyone. He has lost his whole family so he knows exactly whats at stake. And it´s not like he didn´t leave people he loved behind. he loves Ginny very much. I don´t now how Hermione found it in her heart to become friends with someone who calles her a nightmare. Harry can be pretty shitty too but he is never calling her any names for just being who she is. And that brings us to my favourite relationship in the stroy. Harry and Hermione´s friendship is so pure it always makes me smile when i see or read about the little moments they share that truly show how much they love each other. I am so glad that JK decided not to have them end up together. These two are friendship goals if i ever seen one, I love it. You will also get a deeper understanding of just how important Harry´s relationship is with Dobby. He plays an huge part in the story and I always hated that they credited one of his biggest plots to another character just because it was too expensive to have him in more movies. That Harry freed him with a sock plays such a nice part in the story. You will also learn much more about goblins and houseleves which will truly change your perspective of how the wizarding worlds treats magical creatures. The only thing I have to say about Riddle is that he is an fantastic villan and that his story is so interersting as well. JK really knows how to create great characters. Now to the patronous. There is indeed a reason why Severus´ is a doe and how it became t be it. The best thing is that you don´t have to wait for the last book until you understand what it means. That is explained in order of th phoenix so look out for that. I am so glad that someone pointed out why Harry doesn´t trust adults. It makes for a diffrent expierience when you keep that in mind. All the death´s in Harry Potter are tragic but the one beside Snapes that always destroyed me the most is Hedwigs. The books explain so well just how much Harry loves her and how much it breaks it heart that yet another loved one died to protect him. In the movies they don´t mention it after the fact but in the books they show how much it affacts Harry. Now to Dumbledore. I am so conflicted about him. I don´t doubt that he had great love for both Harry and Severus but he really did them dirty. McGonogall warned him about the Dursley´s but Dumbledore didn´t care. He also never ones felt it necessary to check up on him. That the letter Harry gets in the first book is adresssed to the cubbord under the stairs is so significant. It shows that Dumbledore knew that there was at least some sort of abuse going on and he did nothing! He sent him back there, claimed it was for his protection but that is bullshit! I truly believe that Dumbledore wanted Harry to be kind of broken when he first entered this new world. The diffrence in Harry´s two lifes is so huge. He is hated, abused and ignored in one and worshiped and loved in the other. Harry needed to be miserable so that he would be so greatful that he has a way to escape all that. Only then could he ensure that Harry would actually give everything, even his life if nessesary, to safe the world he loved. That also explains why Sirius never had a trial. It would have been so easy to get to the truth. Sirius was an trusted order memeber so one would think that Dumbledore would at least ask what happened. But if he did, Sirius would have been free that that meant that he would have raised Harry. I think thats enough for now. I look forward to your next book review. Harry Potter is my favourite thing of all times. There is so much you can learn from this story because the main story is complety focused values. Strenght, lovalilty, bravery, love and so much more. I will forever be thankful that JK gifted us all with such a brilliant hero´s tale.

Definitely agree with you Veggie about Ron, I love Ron as a person he is and I think he is unfortunetly underrated character, which he doesn't deserve.
Actually, boy who played Albus Severus Potter is the same child who was Harry as baby at the start of the first movie. Harrys oldest son is named James Sirius Potter and daughter is Lily Luna Potter.

Veggie, I have seen this film and read the books so many times, and yet here I am bawling away with you as though it’s my first time experiencing it. Amazing reaction as always, and thank you so much for bringing us along with you on this journey. It’s been rough reconciling my obsession with HP and what JK Rowling has done in recent years. But I can honestly say I still am in love with these books and movies. It’s my favorite story of all time, and is the series that made me love reading.
