MHU first concepts!
Added 2022-08-02 03:51:03 +0000 UTCThese drawings were some of the first explorations I did for characters of the TTRPG my friends and I played - MHU (Monsterhearts University) before they really took shape into who they are now!
Cream was originally very preppy and studious but throughout the game she became more of a bashful, stuttering romantic. Rhys has gone through the most changes out of any character; they went from a classical 'harpy' concept - very chaotic and rebellious - to an extremely grounded and responsible caretaker (babysitter) for the group.
Maya was really fun to watch change specifically because her evolution happened thanks to the way the other characters, and specifically Lesly, played! I still like this first drawing haha
Ivy, Hazel and Lois were all very close on the first try - I sort of knew what I wanted all of them to look like, and their designs didn't change much!
I try not to pick favourites but Cream and Ivy own my heart haha
