Holy Armor of the Lady Dissen - [Magic Item Monday]

The Lady of Dissen is a power from our homebrew world of Talia (although you can easily add it to your world). What is a power you may ask? During the formation of the world of Talia, Major deities from other worlds wanted to lay claim to the worship of Talia's inhabitants and sent avatars, proxies, and angels to the world to sway its opinions. These creatures were known as powers, and are still worshipped to this day. 

Lady Dissen, the Paladin

• Worshipers: Paladins, Soldiers, Strategists

She was once a paladin for a long forgotten god of war during the Age of Gods, when her god was struck down on the field of battle she was there to protect it's divinity shard from its enemies and became a power herself. Little is known of her past and she only appears sporadically through out the world, though her presence is felt in every battlefield. When a plan goes awry, she can be felt guiding the strategists, that her presence calms the men and provides insights to a general.

She is most often worshiped by those who find religious meaning in war, who hone their bodies for martial perfection. While she doesn't command those who worship her to start wars, she does instruct them to be training, honing their bodies to perfect. Monasteries focused on fighting hand to hand rise up in her honor, just as military academies on strategy teach her tenets.

She created her armor only for her greatest warrior, Taurok. Now Taurok just happens to be my character from our previous campaign, and I made this armor in his honor. It's too bad Stephen (our DM) didn't come up with it himself and give it to Taurok. He was totally awesome and more than deserved it.
