One-Shot: Stargate SG-1 (RPG) - August 20th, 2021

I (Stephen) am going to be running a one-shot on August 20th but first I need a few players - which is where you come in. This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $10 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $5 patrons (5th), a few days later to our $1 patrons (10th), and then it will be open to anyone on our Discord (15th). I have room for 6 players in the one-shot. If you are in one of the lower tiers, feel free to message me beforehand and I'll add you to the waiting list.

Time: Friday, August 20th, 2021 [20210820] 6pm EDT to about 10pm EDT [10pm UTC to about 2pm UTC]

The adventure: We will be playing the Stargate SG-1 Roleplaying game and the Season 1 Episode 1 module "Groundbreaking".

New to the Phoenix Program, you have been selected as a recruit for training. If all goes well, you may graduate to become a Phoenix team member to go off-world and explore the galaxy. Are you up for the challenge?

For character generation:

- Pregenerated Characters are provided, I'll offer the list of choices but you can find them all here: https://stargatetherpg.com/files/

- If you have experience with Stargate SG-1 RPG, you can build a 1st level character.

- No evil characters. Your characters should want to be part of the story and be interested in what happens next.

Before the game:

- Set up an account on Roll20

- Join our discord!

Helpful tips:

- Due to time constraints, I'll be pacing combat quickly, I understand that this might be a new system for most and am happy to explain certain mechanics. Some things might be handwaved as I won't stick strictly to the rules for first-time players.

- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.
