One-Shot: Little Trouble in Big Absalom (PF2e) - July 25th, 2021

I (Stephen) am going to be running a one-shot on July 25th but first I need a few players - which is where you come in. This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $10 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $5 patrons (11th), a few days later to our $1 patrons (15th), and then it will be open to anyone on our Discord (19th). I have room for 6 players in the one-shot. If you are in one of the lower tiers, feel free to message me beforehand and I'll add you to the waiting list.

Time: Sunday, July 25th, 2021 [20210725] 12pm EDT to about 4pm EDT [4pm UTC to about 8pm UTC]

The adventure: We will be playing inside of the Golarion setting and in the sewers of Absalom, City at the Center of the World. Our one-shot will be the one-shot Little Trouble in Big Absalom for Pathfinder 2nd edition. This will be using the Pathfinder 2e ruleset, but I'll be providing pre-gens and will be used to introduce players to the system.

Always living in the shadows is hard when you're a clever and regal creature like a kobold. Now it's time to make a name for yourself and bring honor and prestige to your clan.

In Little Trouble in Big Absalom, you take on the role of a kobold from the Hookclaw clan tasked with exploring a treasure-laden vault discovered by a team of diggers. Enticed by the potential wealth, the kobolds must brave terrible dangers . . .

For character generation:

- Characters are made using the Pathfinder 2e ruleset

- Pregenerated Characters are provided, you can choose from Alchemist, Barbarian, Bard, Champion, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, or Wizard. Please let me know ahead of time your choice.

- If you have experience with PF2e, you can build a 1st level Kobold character. Common equipment and spells only.

- No evil characters. Your characters should want to be part of the story and be interested in what happens next.

Before the game:

- Send me your character sheet (or I'll send you a pre-gen before the game)

- Set up an account on Roll20

- Select a character token/portrait and send it to me so I can set it up on Roll20

Helpful tips:

- Due to time constraints, I'll be pacing combat quickly, I understand that this might be a new system for many and am happy to explain certain mechanics. Some things might be handwaved as I won't stick strictly to the rules for first-time players.

- If you build a character, I can recommend the Pathbuilder 2e app for android devices or the Wanderer's Guide which is a browser character builder.

- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.

Background: For the background of your character, you are a part of the Hookclaw clan in the Absalom sewers. It's a dangerous place to be a kobold and unknown horrors exist in this underground labyrinth, but you are a noble kobold. A dragon. A powerful figure that will soon conquer the world... once you build up your treasure hoard first.
