Colossal Bestiary [Monster Thursday]

These massive monsters stride across the world, probably causing a lot of accidental property damage, and are ferocious unstoppable killing machines. These creatures are larger than gargantuan, with the largest among them stretching over 450 feet high! The tarrasque can only claim 70 feet high, and while these creatures aren't the devouring of worlds that a tarrasque is, they are incredibly powerful who thrive on destruction. They are rarely ever found together, as they simply require too many resources to stay alive and largely hibernate while they wait for enough food to appear near them.

Chíliapódia (CR 21) Our first colossal baddy is a massive centipede with poison dripping from its mandibles. It's semi-based on the giant centipede, behir, and snakes. It is known for its speed, trampling and crushing all creatures under its thousands of legs and frankly... it creeps me out. Bugs are gross, and if they become hundreds of feet long... it's probably even worse.

Kerberos (CR 28) The highest CR for this group of monsters goes to kerberos, also known as Cerberus. This three-headed monster is often depicted as a dog, but could be snake heads or anything else! This creature is a protector of the hells, ensuring that no one ever leaves hell with a soul that they aren't allowed to. They only listen to their gods of deaths that form them, and have been known to walk the material world where they seek out those who would try to thwart death.

Mountain That Walks (CR 24) This is the monster that inspired all of us, a colossal bulette. I liked the idea of it so much from our most recent Deep Dive, that I knew I had to go all out and make some kaiju/colossal monster horrors! This mountain is just a big ol' bulette ready to pounce and smear creatures against the ground with its hundreds of tons of weight.

Ooze Pollutant (CR 21) Anyone ever watch Fern Gully? Hexxus inspired this creature of pestilence, sludge, ooze, and rot and is formed when the land becomes polluted. This creature is formed by negative energy given sentience, and wants nothing more than to spread its poisons across the world.

Titanus-Rex (CR 26) You know it had to show up. The most popular of all colossal monsters is godzilla, which is what happens when a sage turns a completely normal tyrannosaurus-rex into a horrific monster thanks to a strange experiment. These massive creatures can shoot beams of lightning, a roar so loud it bursts eardrums, and can regenerate their wounds quickly.
