One-Shot: Skitter Shot (Starfinder) - April 30th, 2021

I (Stephen) am going to be running a one-shot on April 30th but first I need a few players - which is where you come in. This will be a first-come, first-serve though our $10 patrons get first dibs. After that, I'll be opening it up to our $5 patrons (11th), a few days later to our $1 patrons (13th), and then it will be open to anyone on our Discord (16th). I have room for 4 players in the one-shot. If you are in one of the lower tiers, feel free to message me beforehand and I'll add you to the waiting list.

Time: Friday, April 30th, 2021 [20210430] 6pm EDT to about 10pm EDT [10pm UTC to about 2am UTC]

The adventure: We will be playing inside of the Starfinder setting out in SPACE! Our one-shot will be Skitter Shot an adventure for the Starfinder system. This will be using the Starfinder ruleset, but I'll be providing pre-gens and will be used to introduce players to the system.

When a routine salvage operation deep in the Vast goes awry, you must board a luxurious cruise liner controlled by a rogue artificial intelligence to save your vesk boss and a group of hapless passengers. All manner of obstacles block your path to success, from malfunctioning massage tables to cybernetic undead to vermin from another planet, but if you can work together (something skittermanders do best), you are sure to be hailed as tiny, furry heroes!

For character generation:

- Characters are made using the Starfinder ruleset

- Pregenerated Characters are provided, which includes Mystic, Soldier, Envoy, and Mechanic.

- If you have experience with Starfinder, you can build a 2nd level skittermander character using the CRB and COM.

- No evil characters. Your characters should want to be part of the story and be interested in what happens next. Skittermanders are renowned for their helpful nature and willingness to help others, regardless of that creature's intentions.

Before the game:

- Send me your character sheet (or I'll send you a pre-gen before the game)

- Set up an account on Roll20

- Select a character token/portrait and send it to me so I can set it up on Roll20

Helpful tips:

- Due to time constraints, I'll be pacing combat quickly, I understand that this might be a new system for many and am happy to explain certain mechanics. Some things might be handwaved as I won't stick strictly to the rules for first-time players.

- If you build a character, I can recommend the Starbuilder app for android devices.

- Ensure you have a working microphone (phone or computer mic is fine) and working speakers/headphones.

Background: For the background of your character, you are a skittermander working for a vesk boss shipping cargo in the Vast, the empty regions of space. It's a dangerous place for anyone to be, but with a little teamwork and a go-get-em attitude, one can easily survive.
