BrizyComics, we have a PROBLEM...
Added 2020-02-04 12:03:48 +0000 UTCFor those of you who are wondering where PIGBOYS 5 is, and why you can't order it yet...well, welcome to the club.
I spent a good deal of time yesterday trying to upload Pigboys 5, only to keep getting a pop-up marquee telling me "Hmm...we're having a problem uploading your book." I followed every suggested troubleshooting point to make sure things were okay. E-mail and password are correct, CAPS lock is not on, the upload is not being stopped by a spam blocker, everything looks fine and dandy, and I try again.
After going through THAT loop about a dozen times, I started looking for other solutions. My request for help only got one of those cheery "We'll get to you when we get to you" responses. So I try looking for help in the design program itself.
Well, lookie here! I am told I have been using an older formatting program, BookSmart, and I need to upload the newest version, BookWright, in order to continue any uploads--but hey, no biggie, you can transfer all your projects. Goodie.
I download BookWright with no difficulties and select the transfer option. Only one problem. Every book EXCEPT Pigboys 5 is listed as available for transfer. That's when an awful thought occurs to me.
WHAT IF I CAN ONLY TRANSFER BOOKS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN PUBLISHED?
Oh, shit.
If that's the case, I will have to START ALL OVER and layout the entire 248 pages of Pigboys 5 FROM SCRATCH in order to get it published for you to access and purchase. I hope to God I'm wrong, but I have a feeling I'm not.
I will keep you posted on what happens next. Whatever the solution, I do hope (oh boy, do I ever) that I will have Pigboys 5 available for you soon. Fingers crossed.
