More events for your adventures
Added 2020-05-07 04:21:57 +0000 UTCAfter last weeks post on Exploration and providing a new system, which you can see here in case you missed it, I decided to go ahead and add even more events for you to use! Of course, this doesn't have to be used in the system and may just be a great idea you can use for something else. - Stephen
31 | Encounter | A massive rock flies out of the forest and two hill giants close in on either side. It's a stickup, and they want any and all valuables.
32 | Roleplay | A small village seems to be made up of only sentient skeletons. They enjoy their undeath lives and may not even realize they are dead.
33 | Discovery | A stone tablet sits on the ground, lying in the grass. It appears to be written in an ancient, dead language. If the party can translate it, it simply states that those who read these words are cursed to live in interesting times.
34 | Encounter | A drove of centaurs are thundering across the plains, their hunting cries can be heard off in the distance, they seem intent on hunting you down.
35 | Roleplay | A massive boulder is off to one side and a young man is attempting to lift it. He claims that there is a tunnel under the boulder to a gnome magic shop.
36 | Discovery | Drifting over a small lake is a floating rock with a small monastery on top.
37 | Roleplay | A merchant is offering exotic animals for sale, though he seems reluctant to specify where they came from.
38 | Encounter | The shadow of a man flies over the land, looking up perytons are gathering and circling around the party.
39 | Encounter | Two hill giants have a man tied up to a spit and arguing on the best way to cook him.
40 | Roleplay | Sweet pipe music fills the air as a small goat-man dances out from behind a tree, his alluring music seems to be charming you. You have the overwhelming desire to dance!
41 | Discovery | Ruins rise up under heavy amounts of vines and moss, the statue of a dragon is the only thing discernable unless you explore.
42 | Roleplay | A merchant introduces himself to the party, he is offering them the chance to own their very own bridge that they can collect taxes on. He fails to inform them that 3 other adventuring parties also own the same bridge.
43 | Encounter | An orc war party is chasing the party down as they ride worgs, they are out for blood and gold.
44 | Discovery | A shimmering portal sparkles inside of a tree trunk, its emerald light glitters and the sounds of laughter and merriment can be heard on the other side.
45 | Roleplay | A priest of Asmodeus is attempting to spread the word of his deity, he offers religious lessons and any who listen to him get a free lunch.
46 | Discovery | A knight in gleaming silver armor with roses intricately carved across the plate is standing in the road. He was cursed by the gods to not allow anyone to pass unchallenged, he must experience humility before his curse can be lifted and he is in desperate need of finding a worthy challenger.
47 | Encounter | A pack of cockatrices come running out of the forest, they look very hungry and very interested in what the party has to offer.
48 | Roleplay | A strange mechanical creature is lost, he is looking for the way to Mechanus and is unsure where the portal went. There was supposed to be a grandfather clock in this location and when it struck noon, it would allow the modron to travel back to Mechanus.
49 | Roleplay | A small temple is built along the road and a women is angrily trying to clean red paint off the front doors. If asked, she explains that some horrible creature keeps writing obscene words on the doors every night.
50 | Encounter | Strangely, a village seems to have appeared along the road though no maps show it. The villagers all wave eerily, but invitingly. The party has stumbled upon a group of house hunters, massive mimics that disguise themselves as houses and the citizens of a village in a bid to eat traveling merchants and adventurers.
