Maybe an animation project!

It's probably a bit of a flashy title, but I received an offer from a small amateur studio that would be willing to make a few minutes of animation for me.
It would be a dream come true. But I've never tried such an ambitious project before.
I know that many people use crowdfunding to finance their projects, but in this kind of niche, I'm not sure?
It's a fairly ambitious studio, and it would take at least $10,000 for one minute of animation, but it could be done.

Yes, if I animate a comic, it will be a simple 5-page comic as the basis for the project. I know a few websites for voice actresses, etc., but if they know of any, that's fine too! I wonder if a site like Kickstarter would be interesting? Do you think we can pre-sell the project without proof? Honestly, I don't really know how this kind of financing works.

Easiest way is just to presell the finished work for 10-20 bucks a pop. Even adding a higher tier that costs a little more to fundraise over time. I could see you raising it in six months maybe a year. Bigger question do you have an idea you would want animated? A minute is not a lot of time to work with. Would they be willing to do something longer at a discounted rate. Doing all the prep-work is most of the battle, not that animation is easy, but contracts, finding VA, and sound effects, scheduling, editing and all that is a lot if you have never done it before. So I could see it being worth it if you have a vision of something you want animated.
