I used ADPCM as too general a statement, I meant something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adaptive_differential_pulse-code_modulation#Split-band_or_subband_ADPCM or I was perhaps thinking of the encoding where the next sample can only be +/- (1,2,4,8,16) amplitude steps since last sample amplitude. The Stepocity slider would control the maximum step size

2022-09-13 08:26:22 +0000 UTCI really liked Pockey, Chris. I have re-subbed to Patreon. I've been going to get around to doing it for a while, so, well, here I am. I am a fan of crap home keyboards. Not even Yamaha or Casio, the nameless ones and Pockey really gets that cheapest-possible sample encoding down perfectly. Now all we need is a Peecky plugin to go with Pockey. I've no idea what Peecky should do, however. I can't see an ADPCM re-creator, but, I might be searching wrong
