New Lofty Goals
Added 2020-02-01 21:38:52 +0000 UTCI'm working on my updates to recent Tape plugins, but I've sorted out my intentions for new stuff in future. I will make it possible for patrons to cheaply play with real analog gear! If I hit $2000 (give me a year or so and I'm sure to get there) I will begin to put together 'DIY tinkering kits' so you can build your own synths and stompboxes and things. Anything I get beyond $2000 will be turned into this hardware parts stuff and sold AT COST, no extra profit going to me, but I will be able to buy stuff in bulk: so, you'll get a selection of audio-capable CMOS chips and instructions on what they all do, for 25 cents (or even 20 cents!) a chip. If I get past $3000 (give me a few years?) I'll also learn to make printed circuit boards to go along with this, and sell THOSE at cost too. Sounds fantastic chris. I'd love a little box that has 2 cassette tape heads in close proximity, one playing, the other recording, just with a couple of simple knobs like gain on the playback head, and maybe even a physical proximity dial. So you're just pushing a signal across 2 tape heads but without the tape.
