Secret Evergreens Podcast

Here we go! As my patron, you will get access to the Evergreens podcast, and back episodes at the link I've provided. Right now, there's a single two hour episode dedicated to The White Album, though future episodes will be shorter, will contain more examples of the classic album source audio (just not complete songs, ever) and will be higher audio quality (since I must self-host they'll be mp3s for space reasons but they'll be over 128kbps and not recompressed like the pilot YouTube episode has been).

This podcast is an extremely arrogant attempt to tell you how to make timeless, intense, captivating music using the secret and forgotten techniques of the Sixties and Seventies. It will use direct vinyl from the period (not 'remastered' but flat transfer of whatever was originally there) to make the point that modern mix fashion has gone horribly astray. You will never have heard this music, like this, before.

By request, if I do ever run across an example where I could supply a free plugin that would mimic something being played, I'll tell you what plugin to use and how to use it. However, there's a reason so many of my plugins are called 'Purest': very often the trick is to not use a plugin at all, and I'll always tell you if it's a 'don't process' situation in order to get the effect. This holds for modern DAW use: think of the modern DAW as the ultimate vintage recorder, only with too much bandwidth and bad summing. We can fix these things, and I'll tell you how.

I'll be posting news of the podcasts to Patreon, and nowhere else, so you'll need to be a patron or know somebody who is. This is a private club and might not be for everybody. But, if you are really into my plugins, the target audience might well be you :)
