Streamings, nothing more than streamings
Added 2018-06-17 00:34:45 +0000 UTCI've been fooling around with OBS and my streaming setup: started with music streams on Twitch, began to multistream to Youtube, some people kinda liked it. I do mean to do more, but I can't talk with plugin users while playing instruments: my attention is on playing.
So I will be expanding things into more gamey directions, notably Minecraft. I'll be playing on a server that runs my mod code (right now, a 'underground worlds' generator on top of regular Minecraft play), and I'll let people join me, but more importantly I'll be able to watch chat (hopefully both Youtube and Twitch, simultaneously). That means I'll be able to give tech support and music advice about my plugins while derping around in Minecraft, and it may be more possible to get live regularly: I struggle to get music happening, as I'm very self-critical, but Minecraft isn't that kind of important.
It doesn't mean I'm abandoning plugins and turning to a life of playing with blocks :) but it might help me, to put 'content' on Youtube etc. more frequently. I insist on doing stuff that matters and is useful. These services don't value that at all, and only want you uploading stuff daily, the dumber the better. Maybe trying to hang out on a stream where I can talk to people will give everybody what they want. :)
