I'm still in shock and slight terror that the show will just randomly resume and show us something to be terrified about 0.o I'm low-key scarred. At the same time, I'm really glad the whole situation with Emilia got resolved (at least for now). The sweetness level was off the charts!
At the climax, dealing with the ever-persistent Petelguese, was quite an adrenaline rush. I'm still confused with how he died, though. I was on the side that Subaru's writing his death in the book was what did him in, but I'm not so sure. What do you think?

He was hanging on by sheer willpower. He believes in the gospel. When Subaru wrote death in the gospel, it caused Guese to falter and finally lose his grasp on life.
