Animation Exam 2023

This animation was done for the exam of a semester 2023 (For the summer I believe). I was the one out of two in class to do 2D animation, and a few people werent too impressed by me animating cats, so it ended with me being a bit embarrased about this animation... But I should share it regardless- I'm very happy with the last shot despite everything :,))
Since it was a school project there was definetly some rushed moments in here, especially in the middle shot- BUT I had a way better work schedule than earlier years and was pretty good considering my past more "last minute" attempts. It was also intended to be fully colored but.. yeah no PFF
Story
This is my friend's character Ashstar visiting his mate, Sanddapple's grave (my oc). I wanted to do something short where I could play with "Starclan / Spirit" animation! Ashstar is not a cat to often show emotions, but he has a tough time keeping his composure in this moment where he believes he is alone.
