Welp. It looks like three incisions…I think? I’m amazed at how non-invasive it was.

2022-11-29 18:02:32 +0000 UTCI completely destroyed my right ACL and tore my meniscus back in 2018. I ended up having to have a complete ACL reconstruction with meniscus repair. It was absolutely brutal. I wouldn't wish that pain (the initial injury AND the surgery) on almost anyone (almost). If I could attach pics, I would show you my pre/post ops and what the ACL/meniscus looked like (they gave me copies of the cam scope pics!). They were cool as fuck. My scar has faded a lot but is still very prominent. Thankfully, my surgeon was awesome and stopped right above my tattoo on my shin 😂 Seriously, though, I was out of work for 3 months, and even now, almost 5 years later, I don't have full range or stability on my knee even after PT and a physically demanding job. My knee is also permanently numb on the outer side of it about the size of a half dollar. Still, it makes for a funny story and a cool scar. 😎 Oh, and how I managed to hurt myself? My fat ass thought I'd be cute and try chair dancing. Lesson learned: I am not meant to be sexy 😅😂 Rest, breathe, and do your damn exercises. They're tedious, but they work. So much love and comfort to you, honey 🥰
