Denial of Death BTS

The reason why I say this video will be a little more extreme is for the sake of the realism. The premise behind the video is heavy elements of rape, incest, psychological and physical abuse, and, well…masturbation.
Based heavily off the Exorcist, the band wanted to do a video in homage to the book, but still retain originality. The difference between the film and our video—it’s us—meaning, it’s uncensored. Truthfully, I don’t know how the reception will fare, and while I’ll remain optimistic, there’s a large part of me that will be apprehensive. Sometimes the more realistic aspects of life are more damaging (rape/abuse).
And, I think it goes without saying, but we burned a Bible, I did masturbate with a cross, and some really disgusting things had to come out of me that most will probably gag. With that being said, this is probably the best video I’ve been in terms of acting. And I hope that you all are looking forward to it and will enjoy.

I’m so fucking sorry you had to undergo that. It’s either going to be well-loved or completely trashed—it could go either way. The book is better, in my opinion, and I have to agree that Legion is my favorite in the trilogy. The fast itself is fucking phenomenal.

I know I have ptsd from some past abuses. I've put my issues away now but I have empathy for those who haven't. The exorcist has and always will be my top favorite movies of all time. I first saw it alone when I was 8 years old. I read the book two years later the whole way through in two days. Frankly I prefer the book bc I think my imagination is far darker than the movie. Liked the sequels ok. Three being my fave. Underrated and very good in my opinion. I have a fascination w possession and the catholic rite although in the end I kinda think it's hogwash (OR IS IT)?
