Oh man I hate this so much. As you know, I’m a fellow Tennessean, and I’ve been trying to buy a house for the past year. The problem is, there is a flood of people moving here from California and New York and they are buying houses up as soon as they hit the market basically, paying more than the asking price in cash. Because you see, to them, moving from NY or CA where a small house cost closer to a million dollars, moving here and paying less cash for a bigger house is a cakewalk. It’s a lot of competition in the housing market right now, not to mention the prices are through the roof. I wish you all the luck in the world that you are able to get your childhood home back, but I would recommend trying to get a loan ASAP if you want a real chance at getting it! I fear waiting on funds to be raised will take too long before the home is swooped off the market. It’s crazy out there right now! ♥️
