Shadowbanned

So, who else has been shitcanned? This is my first time ever being shadowbanned; and I can honestly say—I did nothing wrong.
You know what’s wrong? The artistic community has been relegated to a clan of people huddled together for warmth, while the monotony of Instagram influencers enjoy a nice warm fire. It sucks. It really does. A community that once flourished as a place for photographers, artists, poets, writers, and musicians—has been dissolved into a vile concoction of homogenized rhetoric.
I can’t say I’m shocked, and I’m genuinely not surprised, but don’t we deserve a break? I saw a post recently on someone’s Facebook that said, and I loosely quote,
Deserving things because you work hard is an illusory attitude at reality. Nobody is deserved of anything.
Really? How so? Am I to believe that the hard work we put in will not be rewarded? In fact, I would argue that logic and say that hard work, dedication and endurance has paid off for a lot of determined folks. Yeah, none of us are technically deserved of anything, but if somebody spits in my face, I’m going to beat their ass. That’s just the way shit is.
In the case of Instagram, something has to give for us, and while being shadowbanned sucks, it’s not going to deter me from putting out shit that makes people go into cardiac arrest. (Not suggesting I want someone to have a heart attack.)
I guess in the meantime I’ll build up my merch page, cool off, and see if Skynet decides that I’m worthy again to join the Terminator ranks.

Never any nudity but one post the model was using her own hands to cover herself so that threw me into “hand-bra” territory and shadowbanned. But you can easily find nudity on other accounts sooooo. Whatever. So DUMB. Sorry they are fuckin with you.

2021-12-29 20:13:58 +0000 UTCIt sucks. Even someone on my list who does clothing got shadowbanned as well. Why so many need to make sure post notifications are on for the accounts they like the most. Otherwise they get lost in the algorithm. Not to mention have many reshare to their stories, etc. Even cartoonists get the banning as well.
