Draft for HC: Card Slinger Cover

Here is the first draft for the cover of Hidden. Class: Card Slinger, a story set in AstroTerra after the events of HC: Pacifist.
What do you think?
For me personally the changes I want to ask are:
1) Give Deckard a haircut;
2) Change his hand so that it feels like he's throwing a card, not giving it away.

The coloring is a little dark. There’s not really any bright areas to draw attention. Unless the background will make up for that? Also, the proportions do look off. The hand throwing the cards looks way too huge, even accounting for perspective, and the head seems just the slightest bit too small, maybe. The right hand looks really strange.
