Rereading this again, and i think I only caught this because I'm binging the whole series, but is this the same Sargent Kelley that Lilly mentions that talked with her and showed her how to use shelters? That seems like a really nice touch!!

Did find a minor typo here if you're collecting those: “Ever, It’s good to see you again!” she cheered in a sing-song lilt. “You too, Naiad! It’s been too long.” "It's" should be lowercase in the first sentence.
