Judge Dredd (1995) - Full Length WATCH ALONG

I knew this movie was going to be different from DREDD (2012) and it definitely was. Lots of cheese, lots of one-liners, as to be expected given the time the movie was made. Overall I enjoyed it but I kept comparing it to the other DREDD movie I saw back in February and I gotta say I think I like that one better. I think Karl Urban was a better Judge Dredd, I think he just played the character better and with more depth but Sylvester Stallone did alright. I did love the look of Judge Dredd more in this 1995 Judge Dredd, seemed to be more true to the comic books. Rob Schneider had me laughing quite a bit and I think that really was the point of his character, to keep things light hearted and fun. The actor who played Rico I thought did a great job as the villain.  I hope you guys enjoy my reaction!

I really enjoyed watching this reaction. I do prefer this version of Judge Dredd over the modern version, in large part due to the visual accuracy to the original comic. The new one is a great watch but it's more just action movie and less fun than this. I'll stick to preferring this version. :)

Mister "ahy ahm da laaawww.' Rob schnieder was his usual comic self. I liked Stallones costume, but Karl Urban seemed more true to the character. Needed a lot of wine to go with all the cheese. This was a fun watch. Judge Lauren. And your reaction to it did not disappoint. Thank you so much for this. Peace and love.πŸ₯°β€βœŒοΈ

From what I can tell of the little bit of the Judge Dredd world I know about, Karl Urbans was more Dredd accurate, while the Stallone movie was a bit more world accurate. I like the cheese and fun of this version, but prefer the Karl Urban movie more as a whole. The real question is which version will Laurenn cosplay as some day lol

Loved this reaction, glad you enjoyed the movie, I feel this is a better 'in world' Dredd movie (despite the face reveal) whereas the Karl Urban movie is more like a super cool action movie first, Judge Dredd movie second as it can stand on its own merits and not have to be lore accurate which can limit the creative freedom for the studio in some cases. I wouldn't say no to a Stallone sequel if we don't get an Urban sequel eventually.

She watched Dredd back in February! You can find it if you scroll down a bit!

She already did.

Cool, now watch Dredd!
