Added 2023-08-24 16:08:44 +0000 UTCThe poll for next month is still open, but I thought I'd get a head start on some uplifting music and I'm really happy with this one. The vocal is from a sample pack, doesn't sound like it 100% matches, and is only temporary to see how a vocal would fit with the instrumental. That said, I'm definitely going to finish this and get a female vocalist to work with me on it.
Overall - this is still rough. It needs better layers, FX, automation, and subtleties to make it shine, but the general vibe is exactly what I wanted for this idea and I think it's very strong.
What do you think? - Is this the kind of song you envisioned for an uplifting track? And what vocalist would you like to hear on it? Let me know in the comments.
Downloads of the instrumental as well as the vocal version are attached and WIP Archive has been updated.
And as I mentioned above, the poll for Sept/Oct is still open! The 1st option, uplifting, is currently ahead but the 2nd place options are very close. I'm going to keep the poll live until the first production stream in September (Sept 6), so make sure to get your vote in if you haven't already!
