Sadly, the subsequent movies started to go off on a tangent after T2. Terminator Salvation was about the only watchable one, only because it took place in the future, during the fight with Skynet. Some liked the others. Personal preference for me is to watch T1 and T2 then move on to something else. Your reaction to this movie was so much fun. Looking forward to more. Peace and love

One of the greatest sci fi movies of all time. The theatrical version had a much different ending (the black highway scene.) Cameron seemed to like it better (so he said in an interview.) The instances of the T-1000 touching things and showing the patterns of what it was touching in the Foundry were the unit 'glitching', after it had been frozen and reformed. It was experiencing battle damage but displaying it differently than the T-800.

The teaser trailer for Terminator 2 was quite well done, IMO. It showed a robotic assembly line in the future, constructing and welding together the pieces of a terminator's metal endoskeleton. The final step of the assembly line was the application of the outer coating of skin, hair, etc. When that step was complete, we see a naked Arnold, ready to go. It did a nice job of answering the question, "Arnold's character got destroyed in the first movie, how can he be back?"

yeah I heard the movie trailers kind of spoiled it for everyone! That's too bad, trailers tend to do that sometimes even now that's why I'm always hesitant to watch them.

oooo I have seen the TV show for Westworld and it blew me away, was such a good show. I am interested in reading the book one of these days if I can ever make time to start reading again!

I have no idea how this movie was marketed. I wasn't around and watching a ton of tv back then. I can understand why they didn't, though. If they went that route many would likely be upset about that and that would lead to the movie being panned against by the core audience.

Terminator 2 is definitely one of if not the best movie sequels ever made. I think the only thing wrong with it was the marketing. The trailers gave away that Arnold was not the antagonist in the movie. Other than that everything is awesome!

Terminator 2 reminds me of Aliens in some ways - The first of each franchise was unique in groundbreaking. however, somehow they managed to make sequels that were just incredibly awesome, equally groundbreaking. there is so much trivia about T2, the twins situation, Robert Patrick and his truly impressive track skills, and let's not forget the incredible special effects made the T1000. look up the movie Westworld sometime, in many ways the relentless terminator I think can trace its roots back to that movie. keep up the spectacular work!

Just finished watching this and wow! Loved this reaction! Growing up - both Terminator films were my favorite. As a boy it was always this one. As an adult - now, it's more the first. This movie seriously set the bar for me when it comes to action movies. I guess that's why I'm disappointed by a ton of action movies nowadays. This one had HEART along with loads of bad ass action! Easily in my top three of action movies. Your reaction to how the T-1000 operates.. wow! xD I honestly don't remember how I first reacted when I first watched this - for obvious reasons. I just know that I was shocked by it. This movie isn't scary like the first but it's damn cool. Oh! And just throwing this here - this was the reason why I subscribed on here! If any of your other reactions are this fun I'll definitely be sticking around for a good long while! :)
