Added 2023-08-10 16:51:21 +0000 UTCThis week, I returned to progressive house. I wanted to right something simple and uplifting. This song is short and to-the-point and written with a vocal in mind. There are a lot of things to add (like automation, sound design, fills, ambience, and more), but I think the essence of this one is pretty cool!
I like this one, but what do you think? - Do you enjoy these shorter songs (it is what most artists are releasing these days, after all)? Do like the uplifting and/or progressive house stuff? And do you want me to finish this one? Let me know in the comments!

I really miss the longer tracks of old. To me the artists had something to convey with their music in the longer format. Tracks were 5-6+ minutes in the 80s/90s but now they are closer to 3-4 minutes today. It is not like we are limited to cassette tapes (about 30-45 mintes per side) or CDs (about 70 mintues) anymore with all the non-physical media options available for enjoying music. Perhaps I am old school and want to have a longer enjoyment experience rather than a short dopimine hit like people get from TikTok video. Long story short, I would like to see this in a longer format in the future!
