June 27 - Retrofit
Added 2023-06-29 17:31:12 +0000 UTCThis week I'm continuing with the intense progressive house vibes. This idea has some ~2015 Big Room influences, but I wanted to include some orchestral drums in the build and a more current future bounce-style drop. Hence the name "Retrofit".
I think this is a pretty cool idea! The drop is interesting, though it needs a lot of cleaning up and some better sound design. And I think the pacing of the song works very well. I can see myself returning for another session on this one, but I'm not sure if I'll finish it.
What do you think? - Do like this combination of some older and newer styles? And would you like to hear more of these?
