Added 2023-05-18 14:30:01 +0000 UTCAfter writing a decent chord progression on stream yesterday, I tried 2 separate ideas - Old school AN House (Evolve style - like "Our Last Night") and DnB. I really like both ideas but I think the house one is a bit stronger.
Both ideas need a lot of work to really shine, but I think they have promise. Which direction is your favorite? - House or DnB? Is the "Our Last Night" style of house something you'd like to see more of? And lastly - what do you think of a "dual release"? Having one song be the main single and the other a "B" side.

I agree that the house version is stronger and is definitely my preferred of the two. That said, a "dual release" is a neat idea that I'd be okay with. I've wondered about something like that as a song-writing challenge — write a progression and then make it into different genres to see what works.
