Added 2023-04-27 16:00:18 +0000 UTCThis week I'm continuing with some uplifting house. This idea is simple, but I really like it. The drop needs some love but it's already pretty good. And with some adjustments I think the verses and builds will really fill things out.
Writing ideas like this (and last week's idea) are a breath of fresh air. Don't get me wrong; I love writing chill, laidback, melodic stuff. But it's been a lot of what I've written and released the last couple years and I don't think that's all that Approaching Nirvana is.
I can definitely see myself returning to finish this one, but what do you think? - Are these more uplifting house songs your vibe? Would you like to see more ideas like this? And is this song something you want me to finish? Let me know in the comments :)

Definitely one of the better songs you've written on stream this year, and it definitely hits that "fresh" vibe that you've been looking for, something that breaks the streak of stuff you've been doing a lot of lately. There are some streams where I start dropping the volume and push the stream into the background as the song repeats over and over, but that was not the case with this one. I say finish it up, and definitely do more like it!
