I started out with a pretty specific goal in mind and the idea came together nicely. I spent the bulk of the session putting together drum layers and I'm very happy with how those came out.
I like this idea, but it's not my favorite. There are some really interesting ideas in here but I'm not sure I will return any time soon (I might repurpose the drums though). But what do you think? - Do you like this melodic house style? Is this a cool vibe? And does it still sound like AN to you? Let me know in the comments!

Yeah that's fair - The kick and consistency of the drums are definitely a staple of the genre/vibe I was going for. But yeah - kick is probably a bit too loud and starts abruptly. That would get ironed out during the rest of the production, but I'm not sure the rest of the idea is strong enough to revisit.
