So this week's session did not go well... And to be honest, it's probably time I had a session or 2 like this because I was on a roll the last few months with some really good song ideas.

This month, I'm writing progressive house & the original idea I wrote during stream I don't particularly like. The melodies, chords, rhythms, and drums are pretty generic. If anything I'd save the lead synth group I made, but probably not much else.

At the end of the stream I got frustrated and spent about 20 minutes trying to create something worth listening to. I worked on the other chord progression I wrote and hilariously, I think this idea is much better and actually has some promise.

These sessions happen though, so it's alright. Back to it next week! I've also been writing a lot of DnB and chill stuff the last 3-6 months, so I think getting into a better headspace with Progressive House would be good before next week.
