June 9 - Emotional Melodic Dubstep

I forgot to post this last Thursday among the 100 other things I was trying to do, so here it is! Sorry about the delay, this week's song from yesterday will go up tomorrow!
The first stream of June was Chillstep and I really liked that idea but for the 2nd stream this month, I wanted to write something more in the dubstep genre. I started with the chords & melody that you hear around 15 seconds and added more layers and arrangement around that. I spent a lot of time on the percussion & strings and then moved to writing a "drop" melody over the build. Unfortunately I ran out of time, so this idea ends where the drop would begin, but I think it's a great start. If you want to see how the song developed you can check the Twitch VOD.
