June 2 - Chillstep

Incidentally, that's what I started with yesterday. If you want to see how the song developed you can check the VOD on Twitch.
I started out the stream messing around on the Piano to find a decent chord progression and came up with the progression you hear in the intro. It's really cool and it's actually in a 3/4 time signature (like a waltz). It's been awhile since I've written something not in 4/4 (un-tss, un-tss, un-tss, un-tss) so I went with this idea and wrote some simple drums. From there I added layers and expanded the arrangement to what you hear here.
Overall, it was a really chill stream and the song idea is actually pretty cool! To me it sounds like a hybrid of Lofi Hip Hop and Chillstep. What do you think of this song idea?
