Apr 14 - Chill / Deep House

This week, I decided to write some Chill/Deep House - I think it came out pretty good! I started with percussion (similar to last week) and then moved on to chords & melodies. I fleshed out the idea with some more layers, did some arrangement, and subtle FX and ended up with this version. I'm really happy with how this one turned out will likely revisit it down the road. Chat was telling me they were getting Blocking the Sky vibes during stream. What do you think of this idea - do you agree?

Agree on the bling being “harsh”, like the idea though!

2021-04-24 00:05:52 +0000 UTCI agree about the "Blocking the Sky" vibes, I like it! One thing though, the "bling" instrument around 1:20 is a bit too rough sounding to me; I like the 8-bit effect, but it's a little coarse. Of course that could be changed after more development though.
