Weekly Update #19

So. I wrote a LOT of crap this week. Most of the ideas were terrible except for these 2. And I only really like one of these haha. But yeah, the other one I am really excited to finish! Alright, let's start off with the decent idea!
- 0:00 - Starlight: This one I REALLY like. I kinda of just stumbled upon the piano line you hear in the intro and expanded out from that. I'm definitely going to finish this one but it needs a ton of work. I should note, since it's drum and bass, that the drums are placeholder and the bass needs a lot of work haha.
- 2:24 - Crapstuffs: I had some good initial ideas for this one, but unfortunately they didn't pan out. I really liked the idea of the verse drums but it has all the wrong samples. The drop/chorus is really meh as well. The only thing I really like from this one is the piano so I'd repurpose that for maybe new song.
- 4:05 - Messing w/ bass things: Since this week was really light on content, I wanted to show you something I messed around with that was cool. Sometimes I'll pull bass samples, combine some of my own, and mess around on top of percussion. This is really just an experiment and I won't finish it since it has a lot of premade loops and stuff in it, but it was really fun to mess around with heavier stuff that I don't usually do. Just added the piano to get a small build going.
